Maybe the Safehold is in the transition between Room 6 and 7 for some dungeon with an intentionally overly hard final boss - the players get a "safe zone" where they are immune to damage for the first round of room 7 like a Daern's Instant Fortress.

Endgame wrote: It could also be a good place to hide from the Gbaba

The series is mostly set around the 31st century, on a distant world dubbed "Safehold" where a group of humans are in hiding from the Gbaba, an alien enemy responsible for the end of all other human civilization. The humans on Safehold avoid detection by reverting to a pre-electrical, pre-industrial technology base.

Maybe we will construct Safehold V from parts in the 2023 Treasure mix much like the ToH. Just a thought.

I found and bookmarked posts where Jeff used the words “Safe” and “Hold” from 2010 and 2011, and will hold him to those. ;) :P :)

I'm wondering if we'll have to construct the safe hold with the items we were given. Looks like if we all combined our items we could make one like the picture on the Token. I also see that in the tokendb it says to come back after the foundation is laid. Maybe one of us needs to build the foundation, someone else a wall, etc.

That does sound possible. On TDB its full name is "Safehold V (Under Construction)" which reminds me of the "Orb of Dragonkind (Hatchling)", "Orb of Dragonkind (Wyrmkin)" etc. Some kind of progression to them.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

Not sure if any of these are related to what Jeff intends but I found them to be very cool reads:

Ed Greenwood on Safeholds. Three part article that goes into detail on safeholds. If you want to skip the story part you can just read down to the unbolded text. Very thorough explaination of what these things are.

Could possibly be like the pieces of the safehold be scattered throughout all the runs and you get them like how you get Silver Ship passage myrthwood. Just a thought but either way keep your eyes open everyone

It could be the new 2023 recipe components to build your own safehold like this year was the ToH.
