No...the light green were rare enough.

Thank you for the no swapping of the 5th rings.

If they’re like shuriken, use as many as you have, each once a combat.

Sorry, but I think COVID has screwed up those plans. Things have been too screwy the past few years to do something like this. I don't want the non-VTD players to be left out. We can do one starting in 2022 since we will be at Gen Con this year.

Jeff's final reply was....

We will figure something out! Thanks for your patience until we do. We will announce it before token design is done.

It appears as if we're just about done with token development. Will something be planned for later that will include the 2022 monster bits?

His actual last answer was no. It was a reply to me asking about that.

I also missed this, can you spell out what Jeff's final word on monster bits and 4C transmute was? Which years monster bits can I mulch and which do I need to keep saving?

Another possibility with this ring is to not use a quantitative ability.

Free Movement, Evasion, Immunity to Poison/whatever, etc.

I’m likely repeating others but here goes:

Acorn: Likely want to remove “…as FOB weapon” unless this acorn is special. Keeping monk 2/round like a shuriken is great though.

Stick: That’s a fun damage wheel! I think it should be a FOB weapon because it does less damage than the flaming blade or sun scimitar. Unless Grunnel hates monks for some reason…

Ring: I know the main point of these is to be hoarded until transmute time, but I think it’s extremely low power all the same. Id like to see either more HP or a regen effect. I do appreciate the purple look.

Asked on a 2020/2021/2022 4C he said sadly no stupid covid.

Does not want to make one that's VTD centric so that seems to rule out 2021 and 2020

I'm still holding out hope we get to make something. Sure a lot of people passed on VTD but some of us went all in and farmed the heck out of it. We probably helped keep the lights on at least a little consuming all that 2020 treasure and were sitting on a bunch of monster bits. IMO having years of "usless" monster bits is a worse thing for the TD economy then having the players who skipped the last two years feel depressed they missed out on a transmute because they didnt play.

So the ring, I didn’t see any UR level with HP bonus, there was one that was 6 assuming getting hit in the first room based on “heal one point per room”. Should it be 6, or is static HP considered better since more to start is better? The ioun stone slot is 5 hp at UR, for comparison of power in the last few years.

+2 Grunnel's Pointy Stick, while not on theme I think it would be funny to make it autokill vampires on a nat 20 if the 10 is facing the damage dot.

It should kill squirrels on a not 20 and facing the dot if it had that kind of effect…

Grunnel’s pointy stick is funny and has a very TD feel to it. The minimum damage wheel spiking also feels like a good inside joke.

Please let this have a transmute as well like the turkey leg did.

The transmute should continue the Td feel and be somewhat goofy.

Relic transmute ideas
+2 grunnel sharp stick dipped in lemon juice (stings more - damage wheel stays the same but 25 instead of 10 max damage,)
+2 grunnel’s sharp stick with squirel-fur wrapping (prevents retribution damage.)
+2 grunnel’s sharp stick with fancy skull bone handle (+1 treasure but must be only weapon equiped for melee or range entire run - can be thrown for 1 point of damage.)
+2 grunnel’s sharp stick of subdual (image is the stick being held with the blunt end out and sharp end towards character - wielder takes x (5?) damage every attack - damage wheel includes 2 stunned icons instead of 5 and 10 for damage.) A hit with the stunned icon facing results in the target being stunned (but deals 0 damage.)

Both the skull handle and squirrel fur options should definitely have acorns as part of the recipe.

Seriously, this transmute could be something of a fan love letter of appreciation made out of inside jokes.
