There are 6 CoA/CoGF so the treasure bonus from that is +3

You can confirm me at Bard/Druid for my 2 spots

So for my slot. Which is better for the party Wizard or Elf Wizard? I am happy to play either.

I have both the lute of free fury and the Widseth's legendary so you can use either one

They are not that much different. The Elf Wizard does have Alertness which combos well with the Staff of Power.

ok so im trying to figure this stuff out with my limited time. Me and the 3 others are pretty casual so we dont have near as many tokens. I am working at filling up some treasure slots but honestly no where near like what you guys have.

Don't worry Robert, I am right there with you. The four of us can huddle in the corner while the experienced players clear the room! That is my plan.

The Druid and Bard also are brand new. It's my first adventure so maybe the 6 of us lol. I just dumped a bunch of cash and did research. Head first!

I still remember my first run. It was only three people and none of us played TD before. Somehow we made it to the last room (Thank you DMs!) with the dragon's lair where the puzzle side and the combat side combined forces.

We absolutely did not know what we were doing. But I do know all of us had a really, really good time.

The way I approach TD is to have a good time. Everything else is secondary.

I’m not on this run, but I’ve been following along as you’ve gotten organized. I want to offer some encouragement to the new and new-ish players: You’re doing great. You have picked classes. You are all going to get more than the base treasure (more tokens for next time!). You all can play as Level 5, which gives you some extra HP and other stats. You are going to have a well-equipped bard, which makes a HUGE difference. (I’d rather have a Level 5 bard with the legendary lute and a slightly worse build myself than a great build myself but a bare-bones bard, because the swole bard makes everyone in the party hit better and harder.) The experienced players on this run are nice folks who want everyone to have fun.

You will all be able to contribute. Tokens don’t matter that much in puzzle rooms. It will be important for all of you to offer ideas and work as a team to solve the puzzles. Even in the combat rooms, 10 points of damage could be the difference between killing the monster in a round and it surviving to another round to dish out some more damage to the party. Plus, sometimes there are rooms when only ranged characters can do damage, or only melee characters can do damage, or only spells do/don’t work. In a ranged-only situation, being a ranged character who can hit for 15 damage/round is more valuable than the melee character who hits for 40/round, because in that room the melee character can’t hit at all. Plus, you might have an opportunity to knock a heavy-hitter who slid short into scoring position. That’s as good as hitting for that amount of damage yourself. So don’t think “I don’t have many tokens, I won’t be able to contribute.” You definitely will. It’s a team effort.

I'm very good at math but I am terrible at puzzles. Being my first run, I am glad I am able to have my own tokens and understand my role as support Bard. I'll be ready to knock the big boys into scoring position.
