Josh M. wrote: It's not the cheapest option, but depending on how many TEs your group actually has I've had some luck bribing whales. Offer a free ticket for your run in exchange for someone lending out their TEs to the group. They get to keep their own treasure, your party keeps their treasure. It's not foolproof, you have to hope that the time slot is one that works for one of the people with a ton of TEs, but it's a better shot than hoping one randomly joins your run.

That's a good suggestion. I'd be more than willing to buy someone's run in exchange they equip my party. Thank you!

Another off topic question. I'll hit level 7 after this month's VTD. How do I go about getting my special badge holder? I can't wait to wear it proudly!

It'll pop up on the transmute or store page next time you go to order something.

That was Smak's sly way of offering to join your group if you let him be the barbarian. He brings with him *quite* the set of TEs and other goodies.
Cheapest Shinies available!
Find it cheaper somewhere else? Let me know and I'll beat it

I am sure he was contacted by mercs about exactly this even before Smak asked.

Congrats! Like Josh M said, the badge holder will be in the store the next time you place an order. Be sure to scroll all the way down (past the 8k packs), that’s usually where I’ve seen my XP rewards. There’s no charge, but you do have to pay shipping. That’s why a lot of folks include their XP reward request with a token or transmute order--you only have to pay one shipping fee.

If you do not see the badge holder then search for it and it will come up.

and I see Potter types faster than I do :)

Thank you! My group has 8 people, so I guess I hope other 2 might have some TEs. Sorry, I didn't know about that rule.

do you have a barbarian in your group of eight for gencon?

Yes, I'm the barbarian.

If you let Smack be the barbarian I hear he has a full set of TEs and doesn’t change for them.

Smakdown is a barbarian who has full treasure to equip a party and generally asks nothing for doing so. I'd suggest at least buying his ticket for your run if you're feeling generous (or offering him all of your random gold you pull from the run for his gold pile)

The big caveat being he ONLY plays Barbarian so you'd have to be willing to swap

Smak is also one of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet in True Dungeon. You'd be doing yourself a favor running with him

If Smak is talking about playing with you it might be a good plan to look at other classes ;)
