I think of rangers as the ... “THE” ranged class and should be able to choose, like fighters with all weapons (and armors), from all ranged weapons.

I'd much rather:
UR = +2/+2 to hit/dmg with missile attacks (or ranged)
Relic = +3/+3
Legendary = +4/+4

Assuming I wanted anything that made builds more powerful. It's not the same and it addresses the combined problem that leads to non-melee trailing melee in numerical puissance.

If earcuff of orbits is reprinted:

Perhaps a relic earcuff that takes any 2 of arcane earcuff and earcuff of orbits in the recipe for one earcuff that gives +2 Ioun and +2 charm.

Or, if that’s too good - maybe it would give 1 charm, 1 ioun, and 1 of either (choose in coaching).

I would support this chain if it's +2/+2 to Ranged damage so it's usable by spellcasters and Ranged classes.

Better to print a +2/+2 than a +Dex that's boosting hit, damage, AC and Reflex at the same time.

2 Charm 2 Ioun Stone would be too strong.

1 Charm 1 Ioun Stone and choose 1 would be pretty solid.

It would need to count as both of the existing earcuffs to avoid the sleeze of pairing them together.

Rangers have never had access to shuriken in lore or in TD. I'd be hardpressed to accept adding them to a transmuted Shuriken. Some other ranged weapon sure, but Shuriken are not Ranger weapons.

Then again, I also felt Orion's should have had just a little bit more than it does.

I would like to bring back up the +2 Rod of Focus transmute suggestion. Currently Bard's do not have access to a spell damage or healing boosting main hand weapon and are the only class that do not have such. It seems like crafting a weapon for bard use would be a good transmute path for the year. And Rod mainhand weapons have traditionally been usable by all classes so there would be no reason the Rod of Focus chain couldn't be open to all classes. Give it a reduced weapon damage dial to avoid making it purely better than any other relic/legendary weapon. Possibly make it +2 at UR +3 at Relic +4 at Legendary with +1 bonus for Bard on the Legendary so it's only best for use by Bards?

Orbits and Arcane earcuffs alone are very strong, making any token that combines them into a single token does seem a bit too strong this close to the creation of Orions, especially given it would still allow a second earcuff

As I said, I think of rangers as The ranged class, at least in the form of martial ranged. If you’d like to suggest upgrades I’d appreciate such contributions. If you’d be hard pressed about my ideas because you ignore the part where I said I think they should be different than they have been in the past then make a case, change my mind that Rangers are THE ranged class and then I might agree that they shouldn’t be on shuriken, including this one.

Otherwise, Jeff is who I wrote that for, and maybe Fiddy and those like him. Good luck in your token development and ideas.

I'm curious if you are thinking Rangers would slide 2 shurikens in ranged combat, or if they would slide 1?
