As a Monk that uses a +1 Assassins Blade and A Brawlers Horn with a Whetstone, I'm not super interested in giving up my boot spot for an attack. I'm also not excited about using my bracers for a weapon.

Can I still equip an Assassins Blade and a Brawlers Horn and slide the Blade and Shins to attack?

Yep

The damage wheel on the shin should be 1 less than the assassin's blade. The ability is in the stun and it not being a hand item

Can Wizards add spell damage to the Rod's attacks?

Can be slid on AC-15 spells to add its 6 damage on hits?

Gloves of the Swashbuckler
Add half dex bonus to damage with light melee weapon in main hand

Light melee weapon can be defined, but the idea would be mostly rogue equippable things similar to the ranger off-hand restriction.

I'm not entirely sure if there would be enough demand for this to warrant inclusion at the UR level, but it seems potentially too strong for rare. Similarly power level feels like a transmute but I don't know that there would be a ton of people making it.

If we can’t do a death Knight weapon to expand the set, would like to suggest:

+2 Captain’s Cutlass
3-3-5-6-8-8
All except Cleric, Druid, Wizard
Gain 2hp on hit

Basically, it’s Lower damage version of the deadly drow Blood mace, but with more classes allowed.

Definitely too strong as a Rare. Potentially even too powerful as a UR (need to sit down and do some math to check). But my gut feel is that while this may technically be at the right power level for say a UR right now, it adds an extra complexity to every balance discussion we'd have going forward since it sounds like it stacks with (rather than replaces) existing strength/melee damage bonuses.

I wasn't thinking about stacking, I just wrote it poorly. It was meant as an alternative. Even an an alternative to the strength damage I think full dex bonus to damage would probably be unreasonable which is why it's at half.

I wasn't thinking about stacking, I just wrote it poorly. It was meant as an alternative. Even an an alternative to the strength damage I think full dex bonus to damage would probably be unreasonable which is why it's at half.


Probably would be best as a weapon that uses Dexterity instead of Gloves that change damage source. We've had a few suggestions over the past few years to create a Finesse weapon that uses Dex instead of Str for hit and damage numbers
