That is a good suggestion, as +4 didn’t really feel right, but neither did +3.

Yep. +4 Focus would be extreme for an UR necklace.

Doing +3/+2 is essentially valuing 3 focus as 5 main stat which feels like a good spot for the ability and keeps it mostly in line with the +3/+4 at a total stat value of 7

Interesting concept, but doesn't fit thematically this year. The 5 piece bonus doesn't really seem like a bonus.


Yeah there is no way these would all get printed one year - just a design idea I wanted to throw into the mix.

I think the “can’t die” element might be better than expected - there are plenty of things that kill your outright in room 7 without doing damage - with this set bonus that person would be immune as long as their sidekick was around.

Which also means that if your team coordinates effectively you all survive at the cost of only 50 URs as long as you chain correctly.

DM: Person 1 dies!
Us: no they don't they can't die until person 2 dies
DM: Person 2 dies!
Us: nope. can't die until person 3
DM: Person 3...
Us: keep dreaming. gotta kill person 4 first
...
DM: Person 10?
Us: guess what? They're protected by person 1

Yeah, unfortunately you'd have to use different wording than "can't die"

Agreed - the "can't die" seems insanely powerful honestly. I would love for this to be printed. Do you play PoE at all? "Allies can't die" is about the most annoying mod ever, and what I thought of when reading your idea.

This type of token seems VERY fun to me. And what DM doesn't want to announce "YOU MISSED, TAKE 13!!"?!?!?!
