Yes, that's correct. Team Synergy started in 2012. The group consists of players that always use the Synergy Charm, as well as the CoA. As such--most members have collected a full set of 10. Most coaches would be able to vouch for this; it's not unusual for us to have 90-100 of these tokens on a single run. Granted, it's not of much use when we are doing the Team Synergy runs, but it makes it fun when we do pick-up groups and are able to give those buffs to a bunch of new(er) players.

I think he meant the regular players, not counting the ones that join in. So more like 200 of each.

1-5: +2 to AC
6-9: +3 to AC

Honestly, you might want to make that
1: 2AC
2-5: 3AC
6+: 4AC

Unlikely to often see the middle bonus points otherwise.

Also, if this was made, please print the spear of the phalanx i posted earlier :D


I based it off of the Earcuff of the Phalanx stats, since that had already gone through the balancing/design process.

(As an alternative name--it could also be "Harlax's Charm," which I like at least as much...)


How about something like Harlax's Legacy Slotless (or legacy slot I guess), double the HP bonus granted by charms of synergy.


I love the name--it could be used for a charm, too, tbh.

That seems like a big bonus. I'd be all for it--but an extra 10 HP might be too much, especially for a slotless item.


As a random UR it would also be useless to those that don’t have said other UR, one not available except on the secondary market. Maybe just duplicate the effect but in iounstone slot if that is something folks want.


Just to throw this out there, what if Legacy was a transmute. That would solve the problem of someone pulling it in a pack and not being able to use it.

Or we could just reprint charm of synergy (2017 was the last printing).

Or maybe do both and make Legacy a transmute that uses charm of synergy as a component. If we wanted to "force interesting choices" it could also count as a charm of synergy same as awakened synergy so people would have to choose one or the other (but personally I don't like that idea).

I'm just brainstorming at this point.

For a new synergy charm, you could do a +1 saves
+2 saves (6-9)
+3 saves (10)

It’s a lot like the charm of Brooching though...

+1 damage
+2 damage (6-9)
+3 damage (10)

Magic Mirror (Slotless)

Usable by: All

At start of adventure, swap one non-treasure party card statistic with another willing party member (no character may be under the influence of more than 1 Magic Mirror)

TDb clarifications:

After statistics for the party card completion are done, during coaching, you may swap one element with another willing player, for example your Melee to-hit, or your Immune to Surprise characteristic. This swap is permanent for the remainder of the adventure.

Swaps that would render any part of either token build illegal (for example by failing to meet a stat requirement for equipping) are not allowed.

Swaps do not grant any other abilities, for example a Druid and a Paladin could swap their spell healing bonus, but that would not allow the Paladin to cast spells, read scrolls, or convey a bonus to lay on hands.

No character can be under the influence of more than one Magic Mirror effect at a time.

Psychic potential and corresponding psychic tier are considered one statistic.

Talisman of Maximum Effort (Charm)

Usable by: All

Use one Psychic Power to add half your psychic tier (rounded down) to your choice of: melee/ranged hit, melee/ranged/spell damage, spell healing, AC, or a save during coaching.

TDb clarifications:

This counts as a use of your psychic power. If for some reason you can use multiple psychic powers per adventure, you can not use this ability more than once.

Exchangeable for any currently available PyP via the True Dungeon transmute program.

(If this were made it might be cool if the 2022's treasure mix included only these as URs).

On the plus side, the people in coaching probably know how many of them are in the party, and in all likelihood are running an app.

+2 to +4 is probably too high though - probably would need to be +1 to +3
