Bard may sing bard song and make melee attacks with this weapon

I like this idea.

+1 to this +1

Feels a little to close to tokendb.com/token/widseths-2-dancing-sword/ IMO

Feels a little too close to an item one person in the entire world can use?

Matthew Hayward wrote: I find it frustrating that after TD prints very powerful melee boosting tokens as completion tokens two years in a row, tokens that are arguably at the UR level:

Rare Ioun Stone Jasper Ellipsoid +2 melee damage completion from 2020, that stacks with the same effect of the 2019 UR Ioun Stone Infernal Fire Prism.

Rare Belt of the Brave, +2 to hit and damage in melee completion from 2021, that stacks with any other waist slot item via Hitchiking Ghost: Shog.

People argue that:

a. These effect shouldn't be made available to the general player population, as was done with 2019 completion Boots of Inferno Step giving rise to 2020 Boots of Shocking Step.

b. Argue that similar effects are "too good" for spellcasters. It's clear TD doesn't think these effects are "too good" for melee classes - if they did they wouldn't have printed them.

It's frustrating to constantly be told that your class / play style can't get the same goodies that other classes have in much more abundance, because they would be "too good."

TD is a team game, or so I've heard, I would think on that basis having similar power items for casters to melee users would be a good thing

For what it’s worth, I would support errata to both Jasper ellipsiod and belt of the brave that they both only effect rare weapons.

I am absolutely against the power creep these tokens would represent as in pack rares - the only things keeping them relatively sane is the limited print run as a VTD completion token.

I'm surprised BotB and ISJE were made, even as completion tokens.
With the exception of Maul of the Titans, Belt of the Brave is objectively better than Girdle of Stone Giant Strength which is a 2018 UR and Belt of Ogre Mage Power a 2019 Exalted and preforms only slightly under Girdle of Frost Giant Strength.

If we are going to have rare psychic enablers, we might as well have some rares that raise psychic level too.

I like the idea of rare kilts over 3 years, do you think it would be worthwhile to have a transmute at the end? Could be a fun way to let people at a different spend level collect something to upgrade. I might go with +2 rather then +3 at rare though.
Semper Gumby, Always flexible.

Sartre sits in in a coffee shop and asks for a coffee without cream. The barista apologizes “Sorry, we don't have any cream. Can I offer you a coffee without milk instead?”

Uncommon legs are already +2 /-2. Rare would either need to be +3 / -2 or +2 / -1.

It would be kind of fun to do a 3* that took all 3 and added +1 /+1 /+1
