Cohort studies suggest that the Covid death numbers are actually quite a bit higher than reported, but let's not let facts disturb the worldviews of people who believe politicians over doctors and researchers, I guess.

It actually simply has to do with the fact that HCQ doesn't do anything. Not who recommended it.

Also, the study you linked to is a preprint, so there's no actual information there, simply an abstract.

I did not mean to insinuate that Brad was doing this as a bad actor. But it is definitely disinformation. It's all easily disprovable conspiracy theory type stuff. I meant it when I said I was taken aback. This floored me that someone like Brad could be spreading this type of stuff and believing it.

Florida no state government entity is allowed to issue "vaccine passports, vaccine passes or other standardized documentation for the purpose of certifying an individual's COVID-19 vaccination status to a third party." Iowa bans businesses and government entities across the state from requiring coronavirus vaccine passports. State grants and contracts will be barred from any group of company that violates this law.

Illinois will not create a way for residents to show they have been vaccinated.

Texas bans businesses in Texas from requiring proof of vaccination from its customers.

Of these 5 I listed, there are another 18 states with varying laws prohibiting the use of, or out right issuing covid passports by government agencies . Remember, public schools are state government run.

And they (regarding private businesses) are all unconstitutional.

I want to make it clear, while my joke is legitimate about druids from a fantasy setting, I have no idea Wade’s background or education as a person. His comments here and previously do indicate to me some education in the medical or scientific field (biomedical?) and the joke is not tied to him, just fantasy.

Whether they do or don't get away with it, those aren't people I want around me, or.my kids.

If it means that much to you, come without a vaccine, fake the card, put.others at risk.

I tend to take you opinion regarding science with pretty high regard...and I can't agree with you more on hoping people won't use deceit as a way to attend an optional event and put others unwittingly at more risk than the standards would have them assume. It goes along the similar protocol I have for anyone I don't know the status of....if I don't know, I treat our interactions as if you're not.

Luckily, with such a unique name, he's pretty googleable (that's not snarky or and "omg google why don't you")

For what it's worth, if the hesitation is about mRNA vaccines in particular, I believe J&J is a more traditional vaccine than Moderna/Pfizer.

I understand the hesitation, especially for kids, and I can't say anything to change that. But it's important to get vaccinated if possible.

That's a really good point Juion. I think you're right with J&J ( www.mayoclinic.org/johnson-johnson-adenovirus-vaccine-explained/vid-20510091 ).

Point being: a lot of people feel hesitant for a number of reasons. And there are options available to people if they don't feel comfortable with one or the other.
