We've had precedent before, with Cleric (but not Paladin) able to wear Soul Leech Armour and also Paladin not able to wear Soul Stain Armour .

I think the intent is the entire effect is 1/room for the UR and the Relic/Legendary allow 3/5 uses as part of their value

Any chance of renaming the Boots and Gloves to make a Death Knight set? Without adding class restrictions to the boots and gloves? I know It's way late for that.

Legendary Fighters can now just drop Redoubt set and go with Death Knight Armor and Crown of Might and their choice of Brawler's Horn, Brawler's Mug, Orb of Might, or a shield for:

Melee +2 to hit and damage and one of:
Additional +2 to hit
Additional +2 to damage
Additional +1 to hit and damage
Shield AC value to AC and Reflex

Very flexible and slightly more powerful than Redoubt - and giving up AC, which is not desirable.

That seems nice and flexible (and involves several cheaper tokens than relic+ Redoubt items).

I think the Death Knight Armor could be toned down to +8 AC, +2 STR and still be very desirable.

Compare with Rare Powered Plate Mail: +7 AC and +1 to melee damage. (Cleric, Fighters & Paladin)

UR Death Knight Armor gets you +1 AC and +1 to melee hit over that token.

As it is it's only 1 AC less than Redoubt Plate which had a -2 reflex drawback and didn't include +2 STR (although was part of a 3 piece set with a +2 STR, +5 HP bonus).

I know this can get hashed out in TokenDB, but does Charm of the Faerie allow you to attack _any_ monster which can only be hit by ranged? Or is it limited to only flying sorts.

I ask because, Gnomish Fizzy Lifting pack only allows melee attacks against flying or levitating monsters, but not monsters which are behind bars, or any other way you could imagine themeing a ranged only target.

I think wording on Ring of Expertise can be shortened to drop extra words in the restriction text:

"...(but it can't be modified to Free Action by other item) ..."

Unless the intent is it could be modified to Free Action by something that is not an item (like a future class feature, an effect of Bardsong in the future or something).

If it can't be modified as a free action period we can just say that.

I'm not really, because the only the torso armor pushes the BiS melee build up, and only for Clerics and Fighters by +1/+1 at an AC and HP loss from Redoubt Set.

For mid tier players this strikes me as a good catch up year to get melee boots that aren't BOT4W and awesome gloves that don't add power creep.

Now - what I am worried about - is a future "charm of the arachnid - you may equip an additional hand slot item :lol:
