It feels weird to be 1-handed only since it does cut out the other half of the fighters.

The discussion was that these class specific Legendaries were meant to further distinguish the classes from one another. The 2-handed weapon bonus is on the Barbarian token and not here for that reason. Adding it here might also make a 2-handed weapon more effective in the hands of a Fighter than a Barbarian which is should not be.

IMO, I think it's fine for a Fighter to chose to use a 2-handed weapon, but they shouldn't get a bonus for it.

Its a compromise.

If you gave me the proverbial magic wand your wish would be granted. Not to be a downer, but we have had a tough slog on this design with a lot of back and forth. We are more like to lose the enhanced crit than to expand it the longer this goes on. .

Yeah - take a cue from the Wizards and take a win and get off the field  .

Next version might be: No stat bonuses, declare 3 numbers on the board between 2 and 16, if you slide on those numbers and the result is a hit, add that number to your damage total and it counts as a crit, 1/room.

Yeah let's not throw out completely random stuff in the bottom of the 9th inning....

Jeff, we the fighters are happy with the current version of the token. Please run it!

I LOVE power attack.

This seems quite good to me.

I just made it one additional monster -- so in the case of a cloud of Dire Stirges the Fighter can't take out the whole flock.

It reads like they can (and I think they should), but looking for confirmation.

I would say "yes"!

Yeah...this is a better description!

Whirlwind Attack: If you hit one monster in the room with a melee attack, and another monster is also in melee range, the same amount of damage will be done to the second monster automatically.

I realize this is likely pedantic, but whirlwind attack makes me think of the fighter spinning in place and hitting everything near him or her.

Could we call the ability to hit exactly one extra melee range monster Cleave?

Unless the intent is for the fighter to be able to chain one onto the next onto the next, which it seems not to be.

Don't tempt the wrath of the whatever from high atop the thing.

To me Whirwind conjurs an image of a "whirlwind of motion" aka, doing a bunch of things quickly, not spinning in a circle. Whereas Cleave sounds more like lopping off a chunk of something like a butcher. I'm fine with the name Whirlwind and happy with the power of being able to do the same amount of damage to a second monster in melee range.
