It depends on how you define abuse.

There may be a really good reason to want to not wear the Relic/Legendary in a certain build and want the ability to swap all your 2nd and 3rd level spells into 1st level heals that are FA. Clerics not ready to go for Relics for example, or people that want to use the neck slot for something else in their build. Maybe it is worth it to trade off some of the total healing amount in order to get the healing out faster? Or get the healing out while doing other actions?

Besides Spell Swapping there are other ways for clerics to gain a free 1st level spell (Arcane set?) and why wouldn't that also be a FA. Limiting it to 5/game will make it very difficult to keep track or actually remember how many times you used it if you have items that give you 'free' spells.

Plus not a single person has complained it is OP for clerics. Everyone has throught it was appropriate. But since Druid was tacked on people didn't like how good it is for them as a side note. A change back to 'non-damage' spells (along with keeping Ring of Power 'non-healing' spells) seems quite appropriate for flavor too.

The relic and legendary give free lvl 2 spells and unlimited uses of restore ability (because legendary gives an extra one) but now the lvl 1 and restore power is capped?

Longer post later, but the ideal version would be to mix with ring of expertise. Bless as free action every room, without having to use scrolls with shield of the scholar. There may be 4 combats, so you want it to trigger 4 times.

Additionally, if things are so desperate that I need to do combat healing, it would be nice to throw out 2 heals in a round instead of just asking the Bard to cast soothe again

Cranstons is OP currently. I think the previous iteration of +2 to-hit was much more balanced.

In its current iteration, it's likely best in slot for quite a few builds.

It also ups the ante if we ever see another head slot transmute.

I think Cranston's is very strong, and so think Psyferre's needs something.

Maybe add +1 ranged damage to Psyferre's?

What if we took druids off ring of quick prayer, and added cleric and druid to ring of power?

Would that balance things?

I don’t think the relic and legendary cleric necks give unlimited uses of the restore abilities, just what we have on our card plus what tokens would give us
