I haven't run the numbers, but I'm inclined to agree (I guess it depends on how the ranged stuff shakes out).

A level 1 spell as a FA each round in the Ring Slot might be better for many wizards than the current legendary.

the legendary makes it better though, wait wizads are on the ring?

I think what this is saying is that if the Wizards got this ring at UR it would be more damage for the Wizard than the current Legendary option

That was the direction of my thoughs.

I don't mean necessarily that the UR ring would be better than the Legendary - but it would be very very good and it's a ring, not a neck, and a UR, not a Legendary.

As someone who asked for a +4 Con/+3 Dex neck item, I just want to say I’m glad the Medallion of the Sweetwoods is back. Same for the Gloves of the Dire Bear—very happy about a functional reprint of the Mithral Gloves.

I’m also happy to see a Nightshade’s variant. My husband plays Rogue and will probably stick with the Original Flavor sword most of the time, but I bet he will also pick up one of the new ones to have options. I agree with those who say that it might not need all the powers originally listed, but have not kept up with the entire thread to see if anything has been taken off the list. (I’d say allow one of undelayed sneak or sneaking with a ranged weapon, but not both.)

Really like the Lucky Cloak and the Boots of Ogre Mage Power. The Lucky Cloak presents some choices for folks with only one back slot (Shadowskin and Elm) and is great add-on for anyone with two back slots who doesn’t already have the relic and legendary cloaks. The Boots seem more appropriate now, and present a choice for + Str, Con, or Dex at the foot slot.

I’d also like to echo the thanks others have expressed to Jeff for letting us be involved in this process.

The charm of bonding doesn't really achieve it's stated goal. If it was designed for newer players who may not have a variety of weapons, etc - then it should say something like only when applied to a UR weapon and/or saying just a single weapon (either melee or ranged.)

As-is, everyone will use it as a pure damage enhancer.

I like the idea of it only applying to UR or lower weapons (even then, it's still best in slot for almost all vets playing rogue and likely a few other classes as well.)

It's been removed for 2020.

Added instead was a Charm of Faeries. Which provides ability to do range combat 1/run. Which is pretty much all you will even need.

Do rogues need Lenses of Vital Insight to sneak attack with a thrown Nightshade's +2 Throwing Dagger? I'm guessing not, but am looking for clarification.

I'd prefer Charm of the Faerie be +2 to hit, May attack flying target with Melee weapon (1/room) for some stat bonus variety in the charm slots.

What about changing the Ring of Quick Prayer to non-damaging, non-healing spells of any level?

Over laps cleric relic. Outside of bless and prayer, what would be the desired spells this would enable? I think bard would like it, but I’m not sure there is a spell would convince anyone else to equip it

Jeff said earlier on the thread that no other tokens are needed to SA at range with this as thrown (but, of course you can't pick it up till after combat - like all thrown weapons that don't return).

Some overlap yeah, Cleric relic is limited to 2nd level spells. This would not be, which opens up Bless and Guidance. I am ok with it not being that attractive for classes outside of Bard and Cleric. Perhaps with those changes it could go to a weaker slot, like Bracers?

Thanks, I must have missed that.
