Thrown weapons (I think!) can only be used once per combat.

It is just like the +2 Nightshade's Short Sword -- only it can be thrown (using DEX to hit and STR for damage) or used in melee fashion (STR for both). The thrown mode eliminates the need to spend one round maneuver to Sneak Attack, but then you will lose the use of the Dagger for the rest of the combat.


Does that mean the dagger also grants the ability to Sneak Attack while using it as a ranged weapon?
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.

I think it's important that URs provide options for new players. This would be a great option for a rookie polymorph player that missed the class relic.


But if it was just straight up poly damage he would get it if he used a poly potion as well.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Medallion of Sweetwoods going from Neck to Feet and losing a point of Con.

On the one hand, it now stacks with other neck items. On the other hand, it's way beyond the power of other UR boots; it's Mithral Boots + higher Con Boots of Might combined.

I understand people didn't want multiple stat boosting neck slot items now that the Stupendous reprint is in the set. But this seems to have taken a pretty straightforward addition and made it controversial.

Agreed. This went from 10 damage to 60 damage for me. If 10 was too low, then 15-20 would work and still be healable. Otherwise I would just rather attack, or if this was a free action then maybe attack and use as a boost for the boss battle.
