At start, turn in identical ammunition tokens to gain their effects for all ranged attacks with the appropriate type of weapon:
2 identical dusts for Normal
3 for Hardcore
4 for Nightmare or higher

I really like both this and the snuff box ideas!

I would be down with this token. Push the recipe to UR cost levels. I'd absolutely use this

Or, just modify the tokendb to say animal companion doesn't consume the polymorph potion 🤷‍♂️


a 4* transmute potion that is Ranger/Wizard/Druid usable and does not get consumed with that damage wheel could be a great option. Maybe even offer 3-5 versions with the same or similar transmute recipies.

Wouldn't be overpowered at the provided damage wheel and might encourage more polymorph uses in general

What about 4* non consumable potions/oils/scrolls?

Limit them to 1/game and give them a common name

i.e.

Enduring Scroll of flames - add +2 fire damage to your spells for 1 room
Scroll not consumed on use. Limit 1 Enduring scroll per adventure.

Enduring Scroll of Chain Lightning - Deals 8 Lightning Damage to all targets.
Scroll not consumed on use. Limit 1 Enduring scroll per adventure.


Enduring Oil of the Viper - add +2 damage to 1 melee or ranged weapon for 1 room.
Oil not consumed on use. Limit 1 Enduring Oil per adventure.

Enduring Oil of the Whisp - all your healing spells cast this room provide +2 healing.
Oil not consumed on use. Limit 1 Enduring Oil per adventure.

Enduring Runestone of the Wolf - +1 melee damage (not linked to melee weapon so it's usable in polymorph)
Runestone not consumed on use. Limit 1 Enduring Runestone per adventure.

Enduring Runestone of the Fire Hawk - +1 damage to Ranged Attacks and Spells
Runestone not consumed on use. Limit 1 Enduring Runestone per adventure.

Would be cool if there were Golem monster bits and things you could forge together into a Golem.

What would it do? I dunno.

Maybe a caster could use the Golem in lieu of a weapon attack (with a Manual of Golems?) The Caster's STR wouldn't affect the Golem's damage.

Maybe it could be used to avoid damage from failed puzzle tries (if more puzzles damaged only one player instead of everyone).

Maybe it could be a walking Guard for its owner (but would Paladins hate that?) that has X AC and Y HP, can't be healed. Or for simplicity, it could absorb one Melee attack of X damage 1/dungeon.

Maybe it could have 1 extra slot that doesn't affect its Owner's base stats?
I came here to sing and collect tokens, and I'm alllll out of money.

I realized the last UR torso slot item usable by Wizards was 2017, and before that 2011.

Maybe the base of the Wizard legendary should be a torso slot item.


Robes of Haste - All
+2 AC, You may cast a level 0 spell as a free action (1/room)

Something like that (the non AC portion being related to whatever the tansmute does).

It could also be “Arcane Robes” and be part of the arcane set.

I wonder how many wizards would give up starhide or sunhide robe for either of those options. I presume that +2 staff of power would just be reprinted before they would make robes of power, however Charm of Glory is very recent precedent of moving a strong power to a more friendly slot.

The idea is to give UR wizard players another option.

MeC users will probably stay with the relic+ robes due to the int boost.
