Going off of a different idea, what about a weapon like:

+2 Duelist's Blade.
Add half of your dex bonus as +hit modifier. May not equip anything in offhand.

Duelist's blade is a nice idea. Does remove the use of rare brawlers horn or mug so it'd need to give at least +3 to hit or damage to be viable.

Maybe instead of making it a blade it could be a Duelist's Glove?

Offhand, equippable by rogue, ranger, monk, fighter, etc

Add +3 to melee hit +1 to melee damage
Reduce melee damage taken by 3
Req Dex 17

Really need a second neck item slot for us folks that want to use our relic/legendary necklace and our Amulet of Treasure Finding. Unless we are going to reprint a cost effective way to turn the Amulet of TF into a CoA so we don't have to choose one over the other.

While I love this idea, belt of thorns has shown there isnt a lot of interest in retribution damage at UR, unfortunately.

Add in that it would disrupt many armor sets here (redoubt, templar, lucky) and I just dont see it.

That, plus the lucky set is still in print.

I would love it, but I think there would be about 5 of us total who do.

I would like to see a token that expands the cabal set. Something in either Ioun stone, back, eyes might be best, though I could live with earcuff or bead.

Basically I'm looking for a way to equip arcane set and also cabal, which may have been an intentional thing that was designed to be prevented.

1.) Figurine of Power: Polar Bear (All Classes)

Absorbs all cold damage from one attack per game

2.) Silnan's Doctoral Tam (Bard)

Use one power or skill from any class currently in the room. Mark off a box on the Bard's card based on the level of the power.

errata:

*A power or skill with no level will be treated as a level 2 power.

*Can not use when the level box for that given level have already been used.

That would make me happy. I didn't realize last year when I was on the "pro" side of that one that comparisons with the +3 handy stein defeated many of the "con" arguments.

The design was something like:

UR Rod of the meek: +3 to hit, 6-11 damage wheel, and required a STR of 18 or lower to equip.

Compare with Stu's Stein:

1. Same to-hit.
2. Same class list.
3. Stu's gives drink up to 2 potions in a round as a free action - a better effect than waist/pant slot rares.
4. Rod of the Meek has +3 damage from STR up to 18.
5. Rod of the Meek is unusable for STR 19+

I think the benefit: +3 damage
Is more than paid for by the difference: Lose ability to drink up to 2 potions as a FA 1/room
And the drawback: Can't use if STR 19+

I haven't heard much concern that Stu's is broken-good, and it hasn't been a chase/valuable secondary market token.

Alternatively, it compares at +1 to hit and damage over the +2 flaming short sword with a drawback of max 18 STR, it doesn’t deal typed damage, and it’s usable by clerics and wizards.

Worthy's Excavating Attachment - +2 weapon, 5, 5, 6, 6, 9, 9, 11, 12 - Barbarian, Cleric, Fighters, Paladin, Ranger (damage wheel includes +2 shock damage) - 1/game slide ranged vs. AC-15 to deal 8 (unmodifiable) shock damage to all monsters.

+2 Powder-loaded/Charged Shuriken
Shuriken that explodes or splashes some amount of damage to all targets in room if it hits.
Could be something with a normal damage wheel and +2 AOE damage or have the splash damage noted in the damage wheel.

+1 Ring of Dark Health
Upgraded version of Ring of Dark Health . Does more damage, more healing, or both.


Please make it a +3 shuriken since my +1 is a +2 already, I like the imagery of “bouncing shuriken” that hit one guy hard and just scrape up everyone else for the + part. Could be the first +4 ur weapon also since without another ur it is a once per combat weapon unless it returns itself.

A +5 damage 2-hander melee ring, or something similar would be good. Not sure if Dalin is into that kind of thing, though.
