Melee Mainhand : Rod of Power - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Choose one: Cast Level 0 Spell, or Cast Level 1 Spell as a Scroll (1/room)
Wizards

TDb: Spells are cast without marking them off the card, and require a standard action. The Level 0 spell gains all spell modifiers, planar skill checks, etc.

Rod of Wonder

Mainhand Weapon, Casters/Rogue
Slid Ranged Attack, normal +Dex to-hit
Spell Damage added to Damage (possibly minimum damage 5, maximum damage X?)
Instead of a Damage wheel, a Damage Type wheel, with each spot being a different damage type
Possible: Yearly changing effect on the "crit" spot
I came here to sing and collect tokens, and I'm alllll out of money.

I love this for theme, but do we need to give another reason for Rogue to be one of the most contested classes?


We are already getting a +treasure Ioun Stone. I would avoid it for that reason.

Additionally the Rogue ALREADY gets 3 free rares each run off their puzzle box. Adding another guaranteed treasure that's class limited is a bad design idea

Probably +1 to heal but I like this idea.

Heal is very strong and this token as designed is +4/5/6 to healing. That's too strong.

It has precedence with Earcuff of inspiration but I think the + to healing is too high given how much healing has been nerfed recently.

So a functional but more useful +2 staff of Power. I like the idea

Could be the start for the Wizard legendary transmute as well

This is very similar to the suggested Wizard Relic token's built in spell. Could be a good option but would be double dipping of the relic keeps the effect.

Also why Rogue? It'd be useless for them if it only gives +spell damage?

Are you trying to summon Incognito?

Let me do my best impression: Mass disabling of player debuffs makes balancing hard / those effects unusable as a designer.

Anyway - the L5 Bard can cancel Charm and Fear from party twice per game anyway - so this seems redundant.

Finally - shouldn't it be a harmonica if it's a neck slot bard item :P

I don't think we can continue to stack these up, at least not without making them mutually exclusive.

With two of these and two Crown of Expertise and a Cleric you can do any non-cleric ability 6 times...

This is too good IMO.

Adding DEX to ranged damage allows a single stat to boost: to-hit, damage, AC, and a save.

I do think a similar ideas of:
"Your Melee damage modifier is computed using DEX instead of STR."
Would be OK.

Yeah, adding Bardsong to heal on its own would be a good rare Earcuff (for now, at least)

I like to get cute and I like the idea of a Rogue blasting random stuff. Honestly, you could make it "All," since nobody but casters will use it anyway

Also, it could be a transmute thing. The Rare one could be, say, 4 elemental damages, and the Relic could have more stuff/the addition of a powerful "crit" spot
