Given that in 2020 we got a UR Charm that only gives you a 3rd Ring, this is a pretty big jump in power. Since it takes a Charm slot but also gives a Charm slot, you're effectively making it a Slotless item (other than hitting the limit on number of Charm slots).

I don't understand all the pushback on a neck slot. It would be extremely helpful for us mid levels who don't have CoA and want to use our TE with our relic/legendary necklace. I would go for this in a heartbeat.

It's a matter of keeping things aligned with past decisions.

Traditionally, neck has been a very powerful slot at UR+.

For example Charm Necklace turns 1 neck into 3 charms.

So if you want to turn Charms into Neck slots, one would imagine you would need a token that consumes at least 3 charm slots and provides no other benefit than a second neck slot.

Also, with class base legendaries going in the neck slot, opening a 2nd neck slot will lead to a big jump in power creep allowing class legendaries + relics at the same time.

I understand the desire to reclaim the neck slot for those who have AoTF.

I think a design more specifically targeted around that (as opposed to granting general purpose neck slosts) might be more successful.

Example: Smugglers Belt - Waist - You may equip up to 2 neck slot items, one of which must be UR or lower.

The Horn of Plenty was the reason the neck slot has the power that it has now.

It was determined that in order for a token to be viable in the neck slot it needed to be strong enough to be willing to give up the Horn of Plenty. This lead to very strong tokens, which lead to other strong alternatives and so on.

Eventually the Charm of Avarice was created to remove the Horn of Plenty from locking the neck slot and Ring of Riches from locking one of the two ring slots.

Unfortunately due to the designs on neck tokens over the years giving very strong effects (prior to the class specific paths opening) the slot is of a significant strength over other slots.

The unfortunate fact is that the neck slot is simply too strong to allow a second slot.

Medallion of Valhalla
Charm Necklace
Hand of Glory
Stu-pendous Pendant

Doubling any of these items is a massive boost

Charm of Dark Energy
Charm of Electric Energy
Charm of Sacred Energy
Charm of Cold Energy
Etc

Basically a series of charms...in each one it boosts the damage of the charm type by the number of items using that energy type. So for example, Icecrag and Ring of the Yeti both equipped with Charm of Cold energy will make the charm worth +2 cold damage.

This creates an awesome way to either focus or enhance damage types depending on how the build is desired. Plus it could be multi year and lead to an amazing transmute for a collection of them

There is only 1 bless and guidance on the cleric card. Make it a bead of blessed guidance and let it trigger on both?

Healing spells may target evil enemies to deal sacred damage

Maybe force a slide of 15 with the diadem in the puck when using it

One way to resolve too much healing being available, give a viable way to turn it into damage. Give clerics something to do during battle after buffing.

This might make sense as an aspect of the cleric legendary path.
