TOPIC: 2021: RE-PRINT Ideas?

If we're talking rares, two that are either very expensive or generally unavailable:

-Ring of Brilliance
-Charm of Enlightenment

I know that the charm has noted balance issues with the +8 Wisdom, but a functional reprint would be appreciated. Yes, I know alternatives exist in the bead and ear cuff slots. The charm would be awesome.

Ring of Reflexes seems on schedule for 2021 based on the will and fort rings in 2019/2020 respectively, but just want to make sure the progression follows.

Someone mentioned above that Sharktooth armor or an equivalent would be nice, and I agree. Retribution damage is fun.

As for gloves of the flying fist, I recall there being a discussion of them being OP. I’m open to a reprint, but if there is a desire at the top level to reign in the power, they could make a trade in reprint where Gloves of the Flying Fist make melee weapons thrown and returning like the monk legendary.

I'm strongly in favor of reprinting tokens that are seen as overpowered. If they aren't so overpowered that they require nerfing, I prefer to reprint them so that the playing field is leveled between newer and older token buyers.

Exactly my reason for the suggestion.

When a class defining token such as the GoFF or+2 SoP are unavailable on the market or have driven so far up the price scale that they outcost Relics I really would like to see them reprinted.

The Gloves are incredibly strong but they aren't game breaking I think a reprinting of them would be fine. Nothing like the initial version of Lenses of Divine Sight by any measure

I'd be fine with the gloves getting a reprint, but I do think they should wait until 2022. The Monk UR/Relic/Legendary was intended to fill a similar role to the GoFF, so I think it'd make sense to wait until it goes OOP.

For each above list, I went from tokens that were more restrictive on class to those usable by more classes.

I was thinking a likely reprint to start the Wizard's path was Mad Evoker's Charm. The +2 Staff of Power is another really good option. I'd like to see both get reprinted.

Another vote for MEC here-it would help me feel better about not getting one earlier.

Maybe instead of a reprint suggest a rare level Retribution armor set or accessory set this year? Something to make some fun Taunt or Guard builds?

Well, I would love a UR version of the amulet of thorns, to make retribution viable and entertaining.

I know Belt.of Thorns wasnt a popular UR though.

At rare or lower, a set of stronger darkthorn armor seems great.

Unfortunately I think any UR token designed around Thorns damage is going to be recieved negatively.

A 3/4 star transmute item or items? That would probably be more accepted as it's not likely to be as widely printed and can't "poison" your random UR draw

I like the Earcuff of intellect suggestion, however isn’t one of the upcoming completion tokens an Earcuff at +2 will for the uncommon and +3 at the rare? At that point I think we could pass on a +1 uncommon in the set.

Good point - maybe time for a cycle of three +1 to 2 save uncommon a like:

+1 to fort and reflex
+1 to reflex and will
+1 to fort and will

+1 Keen Hand Axe as rare.
