Could also just require a shield and make it not be able to be equipped by Monk or Ranger. A tad less flexible but also much easier to understand how it works.

Also this is exactly the kind of good intentioned meddling that will lead to calls for a mithral reprint 2-3 years down the line again.

I'm totally onboard though with some sort of restriction on future tokens to keep the Monk & Ranger gap from increasing. Maybe somehow just give half of the bonus to Monks & Rangers, so that it evens out for both of their weapons?

Several suggestions were submitted about character card redesign that would apply +melee damage bonuses to only 1 weapon per attack round, if both hit, one weapon would be token damage only. That'd pull Ranger and Monk back in range with other classes, more consistent hits, less overwhelming damage.

That change would probably be too severe of a change to keep the classes good but something on these lines would be the way to close that damage gap.

Something like that sounds like a great solution. Now that damage bonuses can get so high that they are the majority of the damage, letting Ranger and Monk get double those bonuses is very unbalancing.

Yes please god. Been looking for one for years now. One got auctioned off last year and it was the only one seen since. Actually I gave up on looking for one and bought a +2 flaming blade instead this year.

It does seem like a reprint of Nightshades blade is due sometime soon. Could be a good year for it this year.

It does seem like a reprint of Nightshades blade is due sometime soon. Could be a good year for it this year.

This would be a good reprint for 2021. It is following after the Rogue legendary.

Gloves of the Flying Fist should be considered as well. They are very hard to find and rather expensive these days.

I’m open to a reprint, but if there is a desire at the top level to reign in the power, they could make a trade in reprint where Gloves of the Flying Fist make melee weapons thrown and returning like the monk legendary.

I'm strongly in favor of reprinting tokens that are seen as overpowered. If they aren't so overpowered that they require nerfing, I prefer to reprint them so that the playing field is leveled between newer and older token buyers.

Exactly my reason for the suggestion.

When a class defining token such as the GoFF or+2 SoP are unavailable on the market or have driven so far up the price scale that they outcost Relics I really would like to see them reprinted.

The Gloves are incredibly strong but they aren't game breaking I think a reprinting of them would be fine. Nothing like the initial version of Lenses of Divine Sight by any measure

I like the Earcuff of intellect suggestion, however isn’t one of the upcoming completion tokens an Earcuff at +2 will for the uncommon and +3 at the rare? At that point I think we could pass on a +1 uncommon in the set.
