I still propose taking the 1000 gp requirement out of the gem. That will encourage a lot more trade-ins and bring it in line with Fallen Star Mushroom.

The amount of minotaur hide and dwarven steel in these recipes is too high for my tastes. This is particularly noticeable when comparing 2020 recipes with their 2019 counterparts immediately printed below.

I propose -5 minotaur hide and -5 dwarven steel from each of the relic and legendary recipes. In turn, I propose +5 darkwoord plank, +5 Mystic Silk, and +5 Philosopher's Stone.

This would allow for an increase in overall trade goods, which seems quite reasonable year over year, without requiring more of the trade goods which can't be easily made from treasure pulls.

Hopefully this is specific and rational enough to not be blithely ignored.

Considered and disregarded would be fine.

I concur with the fine gentleman doctor from California. I also stipulate that you could make the munitions at 2 or 3 and would not here much complaint.

+2

Re: Increasing munitions costs. Not a huge deal, but it will have me telling my party that we will no longer be using ammo until we have 10+ munitions on hand.

Similar to what I proposed yesterday, but with DP added. I’d support it.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

I think for this year (please do not take this to mean all future years!), all Relics will require 2 Enchanter's Munitions and all Legendaries will require 3 Enchanter's Munitions.

Remember everyone - Druergar promised the recipes next year won't have 2 EM at Relic and 3 at legendary. I'm off to post this information in Token proclamations!

+3 (or whatever we’re up to now)

This seems exactly right to me. DS and MH are hard to acquire. There is near-complete agreement that DP, MS, and PS are oversupplied. I’d gladly see a reduction in DS and MH and a corresponding increase in DP, MS, and/or PS, especially if these relic/legendary recipes are going to include 1/2 Golden Fleece and 2/3 EM.

I think you could go +10 Plank, Stone and Silk for the Relics and Legendaries and still be ok.

I would agree to that change as well, in the interests of healthy compromise.

People want to debate the cost etc. but I would rather have a token sink than extra tokens laying around not doing anything

So you want a reasonably priced transmute then instead of one that costs so much no one redeems for it. Glad you agree with me. Now about the Recipe

I don’t agree with you at all.

You said you want a token sink...a bad recipe will be minimally used, By collectors and people who don't know they can buy the same thing at half the price. A recipe that is minimally used is not a global TD token sink.

If you want to just get rid of trade goods, I'd be happy to trade fallen star mushrooms for the current recipe cost

As always, if you don’t like it. Don’t make it. Buy on secondary market. Everything seems to sell cheaper than its parts. That because Big guys would rather do that and make those then hold onto boxes of trade items.
You ( or anyone) not making them and buying on secondary market is also good. It helps everyone. The people with extra of those tokens get rid of them and make something and sell it
