+1 on all these, as they are getting pretty difficult to find. Although, Cloak of Painful Luck somewhat covers the +2 Cloak of Resistance, if you don't mind the damage.

A couple other reprints that would be nice at the rare level:
Ring of reflexes (probably planned based on past two years)
Staff of focus (last printed 2016)
Shark Tooth Armor, or something similar (perhaps trade -AC for +retribution)
Ring of Protection +1 (I hear AC is the least important stat, but PUGs seem to like it)

I'd love to see the attention to useful neck slot items at the Rare level continue. Amulet of Vigor in 2020 is a nice start. It'd be great to see similar items for casters and ranged attackers.

Also, 2021 would be the year for another Rare treasure enhancer, correct? Perhaps a ring or a neck slot item this time? Would it be too far beyond Rare level for a +2 RTE in the neck with normal drawbacks, and perhaps additional negatives to saves? Or a transmute path RTE -> Exalted?

Here was my 7 year plan suggestion for rare amulets:
2020 +2 Str, +2 Con
2021 +2 Con, +2 Dex
2022 +2 AC, +2 saves (Change things up a little)
2023 +2 Str, +2 Dex
2024 +2 Dex, +1 Con, +1 Str
2025 +2 Str, +1 Dex, +1 Con
2026 +2 Con, +1 Dex, +1 Str

You could probably mix in a medallion of focus reprint in there somewhere as well.

I love the idea of a +2 AC, +2 Saves as a straight upgrade to the +1 Amulet of Protection 2020 UC.

Medallion of Focus is nice, but it seems only the Druid really gets full use of it. Would it be out of line to get something strictly + spell damage for Wizards? Or something like:
+2 Dex, +2 damage with bows

Are completion/ treasure box only tokens usually considered as precedent during the design process?

The 2020 Boots of Shocking Step exist because someone pointed out that the Boots of Inferno Step were nearly impossible to get and set the precedent for a rare damage boost in the boots slot.

Boots of Shocking Step in the 2020 set were added as a standard-pack equivalent to Boots of Infernal Step, I think.

I worry that Amulet of Shock will become a similar scenario to Boots of Inferno Step, where it's status as a completion token drives the price into the lower UR range. It'd be nice to have a version available in standard packs, even if that version comes with limitations.

I can get behind this list, though I'm a little questionable on Gloves of Weapon Finesse - is +3 hit a good exchange when compared to the likely +3 hit +3 damage from gloves of the brute?

On gloves of flying fist, perhaps a thrown weapon bonus?

Other Reprints on my list:

Rare
+2 Cloak of Resistance
Beryl Prism
Charm of Enlightenment

You're right. Gloves of Weapon Finesse are probably a tad too shabby for today's standards. I'd like Brute or Mithral, instead.

Ioun Stone Beryl Prism was printed in 2010 > 2013 > 2017. 2021 seems about right for the next printing.

+2 Cloak of Resistance is harder to gauge. 2003 > 2004 > 2005 > 2006 > 2007 > 2011 > 2016 is a weird precedent. Also, as somebody previously pointed out, we just got Cloak of Painful Luck.

The shadow cloak will be in print 2020 as well. However, Cloak is such a core + Saves slot that a lot of new characters are going to rely on that I think some variant should always be in print. Cycling through them is fine, but its nice to always have something in print, and the Cloak of resistance is kind of the "mid line" option.

I don't even think it should have limitations. Maybe just a different flavor out of respect for collectors. If amulet of shock starts to get to be hard to find, I think the effect is core enough to warrant something like an amulet of flames. But its a gencon item so it should be easier to get then inferno step was (at least for a while).

Shield of the Scholar +1 to this

Gloves of the Brute & Gloves of Weapon Finesse, Still hoping for a +4 str gloves

Gloves of the Flying Fists w/ nerf & trade-in offer I hope these get a reprint, I hope we dont see another nerf/trade

Bracers of Supreme Archery - Im ok with this

Mad Evoker's Charm - Would be a great base item for the wizard legendary

Over all good list.

Agreed, a good list.

I would not expect a nerf of GotFF, given the Monk legendary in 2020.

Greater Holy Symbol might be a nice place to start for the Cleric legendary

MEC for the Wizard would be nice as well.

One of Mithral Gauntlets, Gloves of the Brute, or Gloves of Weapon Finesse

I don't think we've seen a reprint of an older UR that goes into an older legendary. Bracers of Supreme Archery would be the first. They were reprinted the year they went into a legendary.

Given Raphael's I might go for a reprint of Nighshade's +2 and/or Assassin's Crossbow (probably a bet early for the Crossbow).
