Along those lines, should scroll mage armor be redeemed in coaching?

Thanks for the input. I changed the Mage Armor Scroll. It will cause too much confusion and it is a pain for Coaches. I will go with a mass damage fire spell. I will change the Vigor name, too.

The Ioun Stone Tourmaline Tear is the only rare with an un-capitalized "spells". The others are Bead of Bending, Dust of Mending (2x), and Gloves of Focus. Whether or not "spell" and "spells" should be capitalized, it should probably be consistent.

The wording on the Bead of Bending and Ioun Stone Tourmaline Tear is in a different order when it comes to reduced damage taken from ranged attacks. I believe it is easier to read the description structure of the Ioun Stone Tourmaline Tear and suggest rearranging the wording on the Bead of Bending to the following if it fits:

-2 damage
from Ranged
attacks
(including
"to hit"
Spells)

Hmmm...good question. I guess since they are slotless they must stack.

Or they could not, as since something can only be in one pouch at a time (pouch of Tulz or greater alchemist's pouch as a previous example). Perhaps it can only be in one quiver at a time?

This seems more realistic to me.

Good move, Jeff. If you make it a multi target rare scroll, though, you should consider making the UC Scroll Cold Wave a single target 6 damage scroll (like the 2018 UC Scroll Thunderblast) instead of the 3 damage to all monsters. Probably best to only have one multi monster damage scroll in the same set.

Figurine of Power: Moon Beetle - "Undead" has not typically been capitalized in previous tokens with this effect... pretty minor though

Edit: same with Scroll Sacred Enchantment. These two should be consistent at least.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

While I am sad to see Mage Armor go away, I completely understand.

This fire scroll you speak of... You wouldn't happen to want to reconsider it as some kind of direct damage to one monster, no slide or save scroll, would ya? *sets a 25 GP token on the table*

If not, we've seen Burning and Flaming Hands as commons. A rare fire Hands scroll would definitely be cool to see, though the common rarity Burning does 5 damage (6 if it's a woodie), so would you consider 12 damage for this rare fire mass damage scroll? *surreptitiously pushes the 25 GP token a little closer*

Honestly this makes me sad, mage armor was a classic woodie and no more of a pain for coaches then runestones of torso armor. From my perspective wizards always seemed to enjoy casting it in coaching and that was worth it.

I didn't notice this token until just now. This effect is pretty narrow. I think the empty torso qualifier means this one goes straight to mulch.

Is it too late to get a damage scroll in the set?

It's a reprint, and it grants mages +4 AC in torso, better than any common, uncommon, rare, or ultrarare armor for wizards.

Has anyone here ever used one in game? I guess it makes sense for Lenses of Sage Speed, but I figured a Scroll Bard/Wizard would rather have the damage scroll anyway.

You cast this one in the coaching room, and it lasts the entire adventure.

Think of this as:

Torso Slot: +4 AC, One Use turn in at start, Bard, Wizards.

Seconded - I chased this token for years trying to get one. Oh well.
