What ioun stones is it competing with? Beryl prism is the only really desirable rare is. Agate orb isn't bad. Amber cube is good for melee types, but since it's a completion token I expect it to be somewhat hard to get at rare prices.


Iridescent Spindle still goes in my Grind build. And selectively in the Dungeon.

Next year , with the current 3 is allowed, you will get one assuming TE but in 2021 all three slots will have TE on them so their will be no option of an IS

If you're buying oop TEs, I suggest the hat isn't targeted at you

Why do I say that because with Ioun Stones we can get to 7 and Charms we can get to 8 today. These new slot expanders should just give us different ways to get there not improve the numbers. I am giving a benefit to IS for 2 more just because of all the new treasure enhancers.

Back is already set at 2 and Ring at 3 so those should be ok.

Yes. I’m currently planning a 2k order. So I would get two, possibly three random URs. I don’t anticipate the hat will fare well in any token swaps or sales.

On the other hand I was in a PUG once and loaned a medallion of heroism to a newbie that was playing out a starter pack. He was very pleased to level up for that run.

No it’s definitely a good token for a newbie to pull as a random 10 pack but for any sort of token collector it’s a miss

If this is to be an honorary, named token, I don't love it because few will use it.

My reasoning: nobody really likes the new set power, and people like the Cabal set more than the Cabal items themselves. Now we get new ways to get the 3-piece set bonus, and you can mix and match these three items with the original 3 items. Cabal items were printed in 2013 so I think you could argue it is time.





But, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

It's fine to double up on the wrist slot, equip 3 of: earcuff, wrist, waist, charm, hands is plenty of flexibility.

...I probably shouldn't say that, though, since I don't want to convince Jeff that it's okay to listen to everyone else when they say "new" players don't need nice things.

(Seriously, though, blocking two Stones is *way* less of a drawback than blocking a ring *and* giving -1 to saves. +1 to saves is my best Stone, and this is only asking me to give up my fourth-best.)

I think most of us want 5he hat to go back to a 4 IS max, rather than 3
