You know a 5 star relic that just read trade for any UR from the last 5 years might be an interesting can of worms to mull over.

Perhaps one of:
Ring of Riches (2011)
Charm of Good Fortune (2013)

Historically there has only been one URTE printed every two years. The schedule is set until 2023.

But because of the CoA recipe, I don’t see either of these being reprinted without changing that recipe. There could be a functional reprint to avoid that drama. E.g. Ring of Lootz - +3 TC, no CoA or RoR. Maybe it could be added to the recipe as 1-point. There’s no way a new PYP would or should be allowed to count as three points towards a CoA, IMO.

Makes sense to me. Re-printing a "nerfed" version of a TE that counts for the COA recipe would help in "closing the gap" as it were, without too much power creep in TEs (after all, anyone who has a COA isn't going to use it). The last time any of the URS used for the COA were printed was 2015 with the AOTF, and given how important the COA is to the game, I think it's worth consideration.

Girdle of Frost Giant Strength (2012) (this one probably makes little sense with the themes of the dungeons this year though, maybe something similar that could also be used in the recipe?)

Frost is a relic. The only transmute to ever be reprinted, AFAIK, is Potion of Condensed Healing. It seems unlikely, but in general I would be in favor of new relics that could be turned into legendaries. However, Surtr’s may be the most common legendary out there - at least it’s one of the cheapest on the secondary market. It would probably be cheaper to buy one than make it, even if Frost were reprinted.

Didn't realize this. The girdle is the wrong color on the page, dark blue UR instead of light blue relic. ( truedungeon.com/transmuted-token-redemption ). I do kind of think it's important to re-run some of the relics, even if that may not have historically been done. Some, but not all of the legendaries requiring relics seem to be firmly best-in-slot for certain classes with no indication that will change. Obviously, introducing new items that can be used in the recipes instead of the old relics is a fine solution as well.

This was never in packs or a PYP (Treasure box and possible Golden Ticket reward only). Today it might as well just be “trade for a HoP,” so I don’t see it happening unless the 2007 start year is upped to 2014 or so - and I don’t think it would ever be a PYP.

I agree this shouldn't be a PYP. It would make more sense for example to re-print it as a relic, limited to the last 5 years, and a transmute limit of one per person.

Really? I still think of it as "RoSP 1 XOR 2"

Since you can CURRENTLY no longer make a Complete Rod of Seven Parts, a Horn of Plenty might be a more valuable option.

I was going to trade one in for a RoSP Segment 2 but I finally found one.

Besides the can, and the dirt inside, cobwebs and the like, I really like this idea. I foresee issues with printing and storing but seriously like the idea.

I'm not sure if it's listed yet, but I'd like to see the +1 Shuriken reprinted. There seems to be a lot of demand for it without many available. Maybe make it something like a +1 Silver Shuriken to make it a bit different.

How about a reprint of "Hourglass of Answers" and "9 GP"?
