Enhanced or Exalted Transmutes (targeted at new player / transmuters):


Pouch of Doubling - Slotless - All - Show a common food or potion item to gain its effect without consuming it (1/room)

Band of Mending - Finger - All - Heal 1 HP at the start of each room

Amulet of Sanctuary - Neck - All - You may not be targeted with an attack two rounds in a row (only prevents targeting attacks, does not prevent AOE, environment damage, etc.)

I like how this design craftily tacks on some AC and REF in addition to the +2 to hit

Legendary seems really strong with +2 abilities, but Quick Strike is situational, so I could see it.

I know I say this every year... but here I go again...

Transmute all the Volunteer Ioun Stone Tokens into one Ioun Stone Token. Much like the Rod Of 7 Parts. Or however you want to do it so it's not a game breaker. Although, if you make it a Legendary getting all those pluses in one Token the price is worth it as a Legendary.

And this year I'll add making all the Volunteer Dragon clothing Tokens into one transmuted Token. It could be something cool like Dragonkind Orb. It would be slotless; a successful Save grants 100% immunity to any Dragon breath weapon attack and a missed Save gets you 50%; and all attacks and damage versus true Dragons are at +5.

Ranger relic:
Amulet of arms : you may wear an extra ring and extra bracers. You are immune to loss of limb abilities.

Ranger legendary
Cthulhus talisman of tentacles : you may wear 2 extra rings and an extra bracers. You are immune to loss of limb abilities. 1/game, you may place weapons in ALL unused pucks and slide them all at once.

Come on, you can get crazier than that! The crazier and more extreme your Ranger ideas get, the more sane the Cleric and Fighter ideas will seem in comparison for 2021. Come on, I'm counting on you! ;)

Yup - maybe a touch strong - there are UR Iouns:
+1 to saves and +1 AC
or
+2 to saves
or
+2 to saves and -10 from Darkrift


UR to Relic on cloaks gets you +1 to saves.
UR to Relic on AC items gets you between +2 to one save or +2 to one save and +1 to AC

So I would say you'd aim for a relic Ioun around +2 to saves and +1 to AC and maybe a little something extra. Maybe even +2/+2.


Agree that by itself, it is probably balanced. But adding another stacking +2 saves in that slot might be a bad idea. Also, not a huge fan of a +1/+2 AC bonus usable by all in a lightly contested slot since it may shrink the AC gap that has already been shrinking.
