I agree with Jedi in that an int value should be required, it could be fighter and bbn honestly, but it should describe the spell.

Magic Coloring Book Requires Int 8 to 13; standard action to cast firebolt (5 fire damage, 8 with Wizard check success)

If wizard check fails firebolt targets caster.

Starting to wonder if you might not just prefer a wizard who could open boxes lol
Semper Gumby, Always flexible.

I suspect the Librum of Looting is going to be treated as a Tome once we start having that slot, so actually you'd have to choose. Build diversity!

I figured we'd give them one that let's them cast a Druid spell instead. There's can have a DEX min though.

Should I feel insulted as a Druid? ;)

Focus applies to polymorph damage, every round, which I always thought was bogus. But whatever.

How about a Cleric-only Focus item that also allows focus to apply to turning damage?

Is Cleric focused relic/legendary this year? If so incorporating that in the transmute(s) sounds interesting to me.
You either discover a star or you don't. You arrogant punk.

Not every focus bonus affects polymorph, right? Just those that explicitly call it out (the Batons, Gregor's Tome, and the Shirt).

I like the idea though. Clerics don't have many options for ranged damage

Range damage? You mean turning damage.

Sorry, I accidentally was using ranged in a more generic sense. When melee is not an option, turning is one of the few damage options a Cleric has (assuming the monster can be affected by it).
