TOPIC: GT - 1st Odin's Haven - EPIC Planning

If the group decides on Epic I may be interested in letting someone else take my spot. Not because I don't want the challenge I would be able to provide more value in auditing the results.

Does anyone know someone who would be interested in coming along on the GT and take my spot for Epic and the adventure (I would retain the GT treasure and they get the experience and can borrow my tokens).

If so please send them my way.

Do you mean selling your GT at a price where they do the run but you keep the treasure? Or just letting someone do your run for free, so you can observe? If the latter, I have a veteran buddy who would love to run with us. Though frankly, I'd love to see you do the run also because, well, you're fun to run with!

My friend Andrew (who I think you've met) would love to join us.

The one thing to keep in mind with the push for epic is that, as I said before, I am nowhere near epic geared. Nightmare would be a stretch for what I am able to field at the moment. I am perfectly willing as I said before but chances are that it will be rough.

On a semi related note I am looking into picking up a ring of heroism or similar and wondering what peoples thoughts are on reaching 5th level as a ranger or fighter primary.

I also put my buddy, fellow volunteer just not on the forums, Jeff Secrest if he doesn’t win Laz’s ticket would really like the ticket

Looks like we don't have a Cleric yet? Assuming that is true, I'm happy to go with Cleric.

Do we know who is replacing Ed?

Given the loss of Trent and Ed, do we still want to go Epic? Or scale back to Nightmare? I'm thinking maybe Nightmare at this point.

Re: difficulty level - speaking as someone who will be undergeared (esp as Paladin), I'd still vote for Epic, only because it'd make it a more unique experience. I know that we will have a couple very lightly geared people on the run, but a) I know this group can supplement their build and b) past GT runs I have been on have gotten through on Nightmare with virtually zero trouble.

If you need to borrow any tokens to up your AC, I can probably help. I'm doing wizard and doubt I'll be using many of the tokens a paladin would use.

I thought jimtw had cleric listed as his first choice.
