I have a Golden Ticket, and I have a question. My flight doesn't get in until 6:00pm. I can rush to the stadium, but I won't have picked up my badge in that time. Do we have to have our GenCon badge in order to particpate.

I don't think so but Laz would be the right person to ask. I don't remember having mine with me last year but I might have.

Airport landing to the hotels is normally about 30-45 minutes. It is a good 10-15 minute hike to go into the convention center, through the tunnel to underneath Lucas field. If you go straight to Lucas field, I think you would make it (and I think there will be somewhere to leave your stuff but I'm not sure). Again - Laz is the expert

For what it's worth, fully recommend having everything shipped to you ahead of time anyways. The shipping cost is well worth saving the pain of not having to stand in line, imo.

Yes, you must have your badge. The event starts at 7. It's a pain getting into Lucas Oil Wednesday evening. Laz or someone like him will meet you at the entrance checkpoint.

If you can catch an earlier flight, I highly recommend doing so.

6pm landing IF all goes well, 10 or so minutes to get to baggage, 15 to 20 or so minutes to get baggage, travel to downtown in late afternoon traffic. Park, get to convention center. Will Call line, 30 to 45 minutes, get to Lucas oil entrance, 10 minutes. I don't see how this is physically possible.

Seriously, get an earlier flight. It will be worth it.

a Golden Ticket event is a rare and special thing, mere things like time and space should not get in the way

also 6pm is s tight window. the GT wont wait..it has a schedule

The entrance checkpoint at Lucas Oil Stadium is not one of the entrances you might normally used to get in to the Stadium for an event.

I'm on the earliest flight out of my location including small layover times. So I may just unfortunately be out of luck.

That truly stinks.

If you can't use it, consider a forum auction. They typically fetch a pretty substantial price.

Sadly, I can not do will call on my badge since it is a GM Badge and my business partner and I are play testing our games.
