Could be but I don't think TD had anything to do with the prize choosing. I don't know what just a thought. Though I think that is nicer for having more winners, it is more costly for WB to send out to 1000 people vs 100.

correct
We shipped them X* number of Honeycombs and Keys moons ago and that was the extent of our involvement.

*I'm not being coy, I don't know the number and I don't have the will to look it up.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .

That is what is about what I thought. I imagine TD also sent them some number of Bloodless. What they are doing with them is WB doing, but just seems an odd way to do it.

If they send out the stuff TD provided then paying more for postage may not be very cost effective.

I imagine Pat has a supply of bloodless just lying about, and the reason you didn't get it is because no one could find it, but that's just me.

Breaking/spreading prizes out would be legal suicide. Posting "N prizes are available" and distributing N+ would be fine, but breaking down those N prizes to get Y smaller prizes AFTER people buy in to the raffle (which is essentially a lottery regardless of what they call it) would be illegal, say nothing of how shady it would look. I can't imagine they would do that intentionally.

You might be correct for your state but raffle rules vary state to state. I haven't a clue what rules might be for Wisconsin. Maybe you do, but just putting it out there state they do vary.

I am glad you partner with them, and sad they’ve had to store the prizes this long.

Based on what I'm seeing in this thread I'm questioning whether or not I'll ever participate in something from WB again. Not being notified of a package shipping, not being notified if you were one of the prize winners. Not being notified of anything really, and then people receiving items that were not even close to what was originally published/described. It all just seems very sloppy. And if this is sloppy it makes me question how the organization is run and what percentage of my dollars are actually going to programs vs. expenses.

If anything, this gives me some belief that hardly any money is being spent on expenses like communicating with donors or shipping promised rewards. So, I’ll count that as a positive?
