For those that didn't see it Worldbuilders posted on their Facebook that winners have been drawn and they're beginning the shipping process.

Cool!

The announcement is:

Hello donors! ...the time has come....we have our #WINNERS ! That means all across the world thousands of unique prizes, books, and games, will be making their way to new homes! This is one of the best parts of our year. Follow along as we package up and ship them off. Our warehouse is still masked up, and still social distancing, but we will have our packing party. If you receive a gift at your door, we welcome you to share, tag, and show off your prize on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Thank you as always for your continued support! #worldbuildersprizedraw #prizedraw #eoy2020 #s2lf2 #eoyprizedraw

They indicate a 5 step process, where we are now on step 1:

1. Plugging in the data
2. We have Winners!
3. Pack up Prizes
4. Shipping
5. Arriving at your door

The event ended over four months ago and they're just now drawing the winners? That seems.....really slow. I know they have a small team, but still.

They're inspired by Pat's publishing schedule. :P

*laugh* we'll get our tokens along with signed copies of "Doors of Stone." That narrows it down to, for sure, the next 5-10 years. Maybe. OK - the next 20 years before he goes Stephen King and cranks out crap to finish the series (Dark Tower.)

I am glad he spends time not cranking out crap, standards are awesome. I remember the story from the TD arc to this day, I might even get the room numbers correct if I spent some time on it. I should see if I have those modules somewhere and take a gander. Are they online somewhere to read?

I don't know if they are available on-line. I'm curious if Jeff would be ok with us scanning and sharing them with each other?

That would be awesome if we could. There have been a lot of puzzles I'd like to incorporate into the games I run.

I wonder if the modules were available online scanned if it might not make the hardcopies less desirable, which would be counter-productive as incentives for purchasing.

It is a little disappointing that the prize shipment is taking so long, but it’s also not entirely unexpected given Worldbuilders’ usual timeline plus the pandemic. Also, I believe that anyone who donated through the TD page was eligible to win other prizes, unless you specifically declined. My guess is they wanted to ship one package per winner. So some of us might be getting books/games in addition to the tokens. I’m just hoping to get whatever I get in May, not June or July.
