3. No. V2a and V2b will not be identical. There will be a new room in V2b. Both will contain the same "split choice" hallway (like Room 4 in V1), but another room choice room will be added in V2b. So, like V1b, V2b will have two splits where different paths can be taken.

2019 Transmute Recipes Extended for One Year

Due to feedback from our collectors, we have decided to push back the deadlines for all the 2019 Transmute recipes one full year.  This will mean that 2019 and 2020 Transmute recipes will both expire on December 1st, 2021.  

So does this mean if you ran V1 5 times already and succeeded you can start the transmute process now for some of these or do you require all 5 of the completion tokens? I guess what I am asking is duplicates allowed?

Not official but for RoH where duplicates weren’t allowed that was clearly spelled out.

I’m assuming dupes are allowed.

Figuring duplications are allowed. It would placed individuals at a disadvantage if they were all required to be different due to how quick VTD 1a and 2b sold out.

If the pattern holds, there will be 10 different Rare Participation tokens -- and 10 different Uncommon Participation tokens...as we should be running each adventure twice with new tokens each time.

We want to run it Saturday through Monday (Labor Day). Most Cons do it that way.

With that in mind, do we have a cutoff date for 2020 token orders? Also, is there a current idea of what sort of timeline 2021 tokens set/orders will be under or is that still all up in the air right now?

Maybe I missed it, but do you know now if there will be a V3-5 a&b, with unique completion tokens?

This will greatly impact how many tickets of V1b and V2a I seek out.

I definitely want to make some Reavers, Horrors, and save some of each completion token, and I'm certain I'm not alone (cough Trent, cough)

Would not be the first time I took out a whole grid. I did it in college too.

Due to time constraints this summer, we were not able to get started on the tokens at the same time as the 2020 collection. So, we will be going back to the 2019 collection schedule:

October 3rd - Deadline to place a 2020 token order

November 1st - Pre-orders start for 2021 token collection

January 15th - Pre-orders end for the 2021 token collection

Last week of January - All pre-orders should ship this week
