No, you're not allowed to skip anything.

I refuse to draw your treasure, so you're good. BUT, I will be MAILING your stuff, so watch out for random boogers or Bears gear!

Aren't you glad you asked?

Lori

Am I the only one not allowed to skip. Or is that everyone. We know I have the Lori curse

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit.

Thanks for running the patron runs! While it wasn't the real thing, in some ways it might even be preferable??? My dogs got to watch... no hotel room... no crowds... no GenCon BO funk...

There probably should be some method to handle consumables. Doing the exact same damage each attack seemed boring with the d10 roll method. I would definitely be sliding the next time (with camera on the target). I'm sure all of the technical issues can be worked out.

Even when things back to normal you can continue with virtual runs once a month or so!!?

It might be worth considering having a damage die for weapons. Each weapon has a core damage dice built into it's damage wheel. Might be the simplest solution for damage variation.

Or spin the weapon token, whichever number is facing your laptop/other device is the damage you deal?
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.

A couple ideas for future events:

1. Offhand weapons use a d20 instead of d10.
It seems like offhand slides should be at a disadvantage, so instead of d10+10, offhand including the Monk's second attack, are made with just a d20. This also works for conditions that require players to slide with their offhand.

2. Roll position on the damage wheel
I think without exception damage wheels are 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 numbers on the wheel. So just roll the damage position. Random, yet not requiring a bunch of math to use.

As a side note. If this will become a regular type of event, it would be worth putting together an app (both IOS and Android) that would be a combination Hit Point tracker, weapon damage generator (see note 2) and general helper for the online form of True Dungeon. it could list all the normal party card info, along with resistances. It could do the random rolls for the player, and potentially could connect to a TD server to get room information, so the player would not know any specific details about the creature, like AC or environmental vulnerabilities.

Just some thoughts.

Bathroom. So can we use bathroom during the runs? As long as we don’t take the camera and microphone in there

I was thinking the same thing - one of our constant questions during the run was HP tracking for the Cleric. Might be nice to have Cleric heal through the app too, less confusion. Also, easy way to show then remove the Arcane/Divine symbols for the run.

I'd think a HTML 5 app would be better than ios / Android native but still be able to run on them. Several people on our run were using multi-monitor computers.

I like that approach, it works even if someone doesn't have a camera through something like roll20.

Maybe Death will show up outside your bathroom to escort you out of the game. To be consistent with the old school in-game experience, unless you're Wil Wheaton. ;)
