Do we know if one of the Kingkiller tokens is going to have a signed option like Kvothe's Bloodless?

I want to thank Pat for his past help. It is much appreciated.

Lol - book 4 of NoTW series publication date in 2020 confirmed :)

We can only hope, but I was thinking of something along those lines as well.

Let’s be honest he probably just missed that deadline too

If were doing something retro, I hear there used to be this thing called true heros...

Oh, yes. A retro true heroes, to let us play those adventures and earn that xp we missed. That would be about the only way i could gain xp on the top 10.

Let's be honest, if such a thing did happen (which with Disney holding the mcu rights is unlikely) the catch up xp would probably be capped to lv5. I'd just like to see the mechanic's (though it would also be cool to do it with slider boards, we do have a thors hammer now after all).

Lvl 7 or 8 would make more sense as it takes only 3 years or so to reach 5

Historically catch up has only been to level 5 or less. Changing precedent would be unlikely.

I'd love to see something like True Heroes again. I'm guessing it would have to be new adventures though, since it was based on a card game that I think is long gone. Doing Marvel or DC heroes would be ideal because of name recognition, but maybe that's not doable because of rights issues.

I’m sorry we won’t get to go to The Underthing in 2020, but look forward to doing so whenever the timing is better.

As for earning XP in retro dungeons, I know level limits have been used in the past, but I’ve always favored “you can get XP if you didn’t play the original dungeons.” That way, people who weren’t playing at that time or who had to miss a season for whatever reason get a chance to catch up. It feels less arbitrary than a level 5 cap, which, as others have pointed out, could be reached in less than 2 years these days.

It was an event held by True Dungeon in 2004 and 2005, based on a Marvel Comics collectible card game. The mechanics were based pretty closely on the cards, the combat system involved tossing magnetic balls at a target on the wall (hit it well enough and you hit the opponent). There were I think 5 different characters you could pick from, the second year I think included Thor, Captain America, and Wasp.
