Do we want to start a betting pool to see when we would have our first international TD? My guess 2023.

I wonder how this many conventions affects development of the next adventure?

Why would it affect development? Not saying it won't, just I don't know how or why so I am asking.

I presume that TD is small enough that most it all of the staff travels to events. Furthermore, packing and traveling will take time on either end of an event.

we are at, what, 7 events now? If we presume each one uses a week of staff time, and staff is unavailable 3-4 weeks a year for holidays and vacation, that eats into prop, puzzle, and design time for the next adventure.

All told, 40 weeks a year is probably plenty, though.

On the flip side - more presentations could lead to improving the quality of props etc. the cost of production can be spread across more customers.

Canada's the only logical option for international play. There is PAX Aus, but no way are you shipping all that stuff by boat or plane...

What's crazy is the turnaround from GHC to this one. Unless GHC is only getting E2 and E3 and this one is just E1, so there'd be an easier logistical turnaround...

Will TD be at DragonCon next year? I think the chances are really high.

I wonder if that is as likely if Dreamhack is successful. Twice in the same city seems less likely to me. But maybe Dreamhack is a substitue for this year only.

If they get enough cons lined up they could just ride from town to town, without going back to Carbondale between each one. That would reduce the wear and tear on props and be very circus-like.

The upgrade to Pi's I think we are going to continue to see more investment in theater quality and production where wear and tear is less of a factor on the setup equipment.

Although difficult not impossible. Different dungeons could go to different cons. We just clone Mike. In fact, for this type of situation, different years dungeons and tracks could be scheduled.
