Put in vol application, hoping for a quick yes/no so i can get working on getting a flight booked.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

Same here. Getting a reasonably priced flight is key for me.

By the way, for all the PAX Westers, so far I've purchased a ticket for the first run of each day, and the last run of each day (with the exception of Sunday's last run that I mentioned above). I'll most likely do a run in between as well, but I'm waiting to see/hear about what everyone else is up to as well!

I put my volunteer application in as well. I very excited about True dungeon being at pax west. I have been dying to go to pax west for a long time and this is the perfect reason to make the trip. I just hope we get quick responses because I need to book a flight ASAP.

Wow, this is so cool. Seattle has been on my wife and my wish list of destinations for a while. Plus two of our long time TD party members moved there several years ago, breaking up the team.
Next Year may be a mandatory visit!

Any PAX West insider info for future planning would be appreciated!

Never been to PAX West so this is not insider info, but it does appear badges sell out so it is wise to get your badges as early as possible next year. (I am making the assumption that someone would not want the currently valid Friday and Monday badges and would rather have 4 day or weekends.)

PAX now mostly sells single day tickets. They stopped doing as many weekend passes about 5 years ago. While they do have some, its a very small lot compared to single day. Id check Stubhub or other similar sites. From my experience its fairly easy to pick up tickets on the after market.

I'm part of this run, it's nothing super grand though. Most of this run will be Child's Play charity team members and friends. Will be making sure they have a great time! :D
