Does it beat Surtr’s Girdle, probably not, but it’s a good power level for a Relic. And hurray for more slot expanders.

I certainly want to make one. The recipe requiring one of each bit hurts but oh well. I guess it’s better than needing 1x Golden Fleece.

Wade they have 9 days to update, no problem! :p

Wouldn’t replace Surtrs on my Dwarf/Fighter/Paladin. But replaces Belt Of Blessed Constitution on the Druid/Cleric build my son runs.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Finally we'll see Wizards stop running around with STR belts. ;)

Definitely making one of these. Great belt for anyone looking for an alternative to +STR (though conveniently enough, you can give yourself +5 STR with the right Ioun Stones and Charm)

As far as monster bits, keep in mind that the fragments themselves can also be used as bits. So, this can also be a sink for spare recipe fragments. I'm curious to see how having the fragments act as wildcard bits impacts whether people trade to even out their bits or fragments.

Okay I think I can finally say it and hopefully not get in trouble. To anyone that jokingly bet me me, don’t worry about I have known what the token was and what it did since Cliff first suggested it was Orion’s Belt. I had to keep quiet and it has been killing me...lol.

So I still want to know if we need to do anything special to get it. And what they hell Gordon Jump had to do with it all.....lol.

Ok, seems like a cool relic...but im not interested in slot expanders (made that decision a few years ago).

So, how much are people valuing the relic recipe fragments at? I have some for trade :)

There are no special instructions of the database about turn in...just the recipe and needs to be done before December 2020 if I'm remembering it right.

Huh.

Not even sure this one replaces a girdle of ogre mage power... At the str boosting charms and iouns are volunteer and difficult to come across.

I'll make one of I come across that many bits and relic fragments , but beads will have priority.

Edit - if the arcanum charms had stayed charms, between the earcuff and this, everyone could have equipped all of them before the transmute.

I really like this item a lot. I do think it competes with the legendary belt but doesn’t beat it for the fighter classes.

Some people are going to focus on beads, I’m going to be focused on making several of these, then making what beads I can along the way.

Anyone wanting to trade there fragments, please look at my trade list, and I’ll be adding some 2016, 2017, 2018 monster bit sets to it for people wanting bead parts more.

It's a meh for me will probably just keep selling my 2019 monster bit and recipes after I make my bead.

Regarding the Arcanum set, Jeff could always do a Arcanum Charm or Stone after the Shirt. Really hope he doesn't though. I hope we see an Arcanum Earcuff, Belt, and Bracelet. :)

Lol, that would be hilarious. I would be onboard with using the neck for one slot, but doubt that one would happen

Interesting. What do people think about this versus the new arcane set? Is the “first spell for free” set bonus and +2 spell damage/heals better than Orion’s additional slot expanders?
