Raven wrote: As a side-note, it's been discovered & posted on the other relic-solving thread that Druegar's earlier post (the suggesting naming conventions for relic fragments) was also marked with teal dots, spelling out

eclipse night

So, two thoughts

First (haha): that this is what Druegar meant by "First" ... to go check out & enhance his first .jpg ...especially since his remake of the names (Pizza=Ann, Texas=Vera, etc) used the same teal dot method as the "Enhance" clue did.

Second: That our Dark Knight is in fact a dark NIGHT. An eclipse night. (Lunar eclipse, since solar eclipse would be a dark day). And eclipse would indeed be a special sight (a lot more special than merely a New Moon, which is dark, but nothing to look at.)

Jeff 321 says the next lunar eclipse is July 16, which feels a bit early for a Recipe reveal.
Are there other lunar eclipses which line up with TD Cons?

New moon on July 31. That doesn’t quite work either. But it will be a mere sliver on the 1st and 2nd

According to NASA, the next total lunar eclipse isn't until May 26, 2021.

In days of yore, quite long before
The humans came to plunder more
A relic forged from goods of trade
By ancient hands the thing was made

I wonder if this is referring to the Charm of Avarice?

Alas, for now, the method’s gone
To craft this fine phenomenon
‘Twas fractured by a hand of bronze
And now it’s just some polygons

Which previously was a RELIC but was replaced with the current LEGENDARY version. The RELIC was broken by a Bronze Hand (Legendary Token Color?)

When days are long and three stars bright
The Dark Knight comes with special sight
For bringing forth the pieces all
To eldest place before the fall

The longest day is the start of summer. The 3 bright stars are generally a reference to Orion's Belt
There is a partial Lunar Eclipse on July 16th this year as well as Jan 10th, 2020 (which is the time they say Orion's Belt is easiest to view)

PAX South 2020 is the end of the current story year and takes place January 17-19, 2020
Eldest Place before the fall.. Summer is the season before Fall

So gather now your goods abound
And bring them where the start be found
A myst’ry now that was foretold
With time, that knowledge shall unfold

Doesn't the Hyatt have a waterfall in it? What if The eldest place before the fall is just the Hyatt waterfall?

Would lore tokens be considered bronze?

Official word on them is copper backed but that seems like a potential connection to the Bronze piece.

And people have wanted LORE stuff again.

Wanted True Craft to come back.

Which would be cool

Bill’s excellent post got me thinking about anything that could have multiple meanings. I don’t think any of these are correct just brainstorming other ideas or ideas others have brainstormed

In days of yore, quite long before
The humans came to plunder more

I think we all are in agreement this basically says "A long time ago"
it is interesting that the humans came to plunder not players adventures (too many syllables)

A relic forged from goods of trade
By ancient hands the thing was made

I think we have been assuming it is a relic token. A relic though could be anything old, especially since it was originally made by ancient hands. So possibly something we haven’t made but those before us made (maybe Jeff or his players before TD)...maybe

Alas, for now, the method’s gone
To craft this fine phenomenon

However it was made can be made this way currently. It is one thing though as it is a fine phenomenon.

‘Twas fractured by a hand of bronze
And now it’s just some polygons

Was the method of crafting it fractured or was the relic itself fractured? Bronze could be the complexion on the hand.

When days are long and three stars bright
Summer. 3 stars bright. Could be night time stars, could be famous people, could something in the shape of star.

The Dark Knight comes with special sight
Batman or a literal dark colored knight. A Dark Night. Special sight could refer to the Knight’s ability to see or sight it will bestow. It could be a pun of site as in a website.

For bringing forth the pieces all
If you connect this to a special site for bring forth the pieces all it sounds like it could be the transmuted page of the website to me as it is the page for showing required ingredients.

To eldest place before the fall
eldest place could be the Hyatt, could be carbondale. fall could be autumn, a waterfall, or someone’s defeat or failure as in downfall.

So gather now your goods abound
Get the stuff you need

And bring them where the start be found
The start of TD? the start of an adventure?

A myst’ry now that was foretold
Anyone remember a mystery that we were previously told about?

With time, that knowledge shall unfold
Stay tuned because we will get more clues/answers.

Here are the upcoming eclipses. Don’t think they match with conventions but I could be wrong.

July 16 would be about the last day to get trade goods into TD before GC. Feels about the right time to me honestly.
