That’s possible, I seem to remember some speculation on there being a Heroism transmute involving competition tokens, I remember Druegar saying a while back we might not want to transmute completion tokens just as trade goods, the fragments are just uncommon so TD doesn’t need them to do something special. I would give it a 50/50 shot of being a upgrade for the ring of Fateful heroism.

If you are giving it 50/50 I will take those odds. There are so many other things that it could be that I would willing to bet that is anything else that one specific then. That said I don't think it is impossible or unlikely just that it is less likely than a 50/50.

I'm really hoping it's something bigger. For example, if you could use the fragments to make a whole relic that could then be used in place of one old ingredient in ANY expired recipe. For example, if you had RoSP segments 3-7, you could use two of the completed relics to replace the two out of print and hard to get parts and be able to make the RoSP... but only on that one night and only at that one place.

That makes sense, his icon is armored like a knight and Druegar (the d&d race) are sometimes called dark dwarfs.

Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ]

Druegar confirmed as Batman!

Comments on this page make a convincing argument for a return of the RoH relic, Druegar earlier comment about maybe not wanting to mulch previous years completions, 1 of each trade good (as in the old recipe) being getable in a short window.
The relic ROH first appearing in 2013 when the Medallion of Heroism was in print paralleling the currently in print Ring of Fateful Heroism.
The relic ROH first appearing in Wirts Cache (which was created through the destruction of the last Arcane Recipe)
Even the general scarcity of 2013 monster bits caused by people drawing heavily from the cache kind of mirrors the reduced bit rate we are seeing in this year’s treasure draws.
Nothing definitive mind you but a lot of circumstantial.

The one and only thing I’ve heard in this thread that I really, really, really hope isn’t true is THIS.

So, of course, it probably is.

But the reason I think it’s not true is that all those fragments are in the treasure mix, and that mix is going to GHC and PAX, and possibly next Origins. But I guess they could mix up fresh batches.

Are you referring to this?

^^this^^
I'm not saying that because I know something you don't. (I'm being sincere, not coy) I'm simply recommending a conservative course of action.

Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

Yes, that’s what I was thinking of. And I know you were not saying they would be used, but when trying to break down cryptic clues it seems like it could be one.

He says that but he also highlighted r in red, the ROH recipe required a red ring! I take that as confirmation

As usual everyone wants something awesome and is reading way too much into it. ( I know nothing of what it is)
We had these discussions last year with charms. Guess what it was an UNCOMMON token( well 10 of them)

This years. Lots of speculation and it is an UNCOMMON tokens( 6 we are guessing).

We did this with treasure fragments back in 2011 too.
