Could there be more fragments that will show up at later conventions?

You haven't been reading all the posts....lol.

Yes, it is possible. Very possible. It would mean more work for Jeff and Co though as they would need to add them into mix. That doesn't remove it from the realm of possibilities just means that each already sorted mix bucket would need to have the same number of new fragments added to each.

This would also mean that you would have to go to each con to get all the pieces, or get really lucky going to the last con as there would be less of a chance to get the first 6 as they will have been pulled out from all the previous cons.

Again is it possible? Yes. I however don't think likely just because of the extra work involved and the need to have a proper balance.

Completely agree.

Possible, but highly unlikely due to the reasons you mention.

Here's my interpretation of the riddle-poem:

In days of yore, quite long before
The humans came to plunder more

A long time ago, before people got lots of loot

A relic forged from goods of trade
By ancient hands the thing was made

Some old dude made a relic from trade goods

Alas, for now, the method’s gone
To craft this fine phenomenon

That relic can't be made anymore

‘Twas fractured by a hand of bronze
And now it’s just some polygons

Not sure about the hand of bronze...but the recipe was torn up

When days are long and three stars bright
The Dark Knight comes with special sight
For bringing forth the pieces all
To eldest place before the fall

During the Summer (before Fall), bring all the pieces to Gencon to be rewarded with "special sight" (an eye slot item). Maybe you have to turn them in to someone specific (the Dark Knight)?

So gather now your goods abound

It's going to take a whole mess of trade goods

And bring them where the start be found

Could refer to the training room, check-in area, or just Gencon in general

A myst’ry now that was foretold
With time, that knowledge shall unfold

This topic has been hinted at already/ rumors have been swirling about this for some time. The only thing I can think about that is that people have been hinting at how the CoA is nearly impossible to craft, and that they would release a new recipe or a new relic that would be have a similar effect to make it accessible to newer players. So maybe this is a treasure enhancer for the eyes slot, something like Goggles of Treasure Finding?

My two cents.

I think you had a great analysis until you said Goggles of Treasure Finding...lol.

I am still leaning toward something that is not a token.

As someone that might know the answer, I don't know if we can trust anything you say...lol. It would be like Druegar telling us we need to go stand in a cornfield at 3am to receive a CoA....lol.

How about Loot-Seeking Spectacles?
What kind of thing do you think it would be, if not a token?

That could be cool, if i recall correctly didn't Adventure guild members have a storyscape quest to get a badge holder back around 2014 or so?
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

if I said you had to turn in the fragments and a CoA to me, then I would agree with you.
but I was thinking other beginnings

If it is not a token I am pretty sure I know what it is and that knowledge was shared with me without meaning to be shared with me so I don't want supply what I think it is. I also 100% could be completely mistaken as to what I was told has nothing to do with this recipe. So I am just going to leave it that it could be something that is not a token and let people guess about that as long as we are guessing token related guesses too.

TLDR. It could be anything token or not.
