I asked Jeff if he had interest in doing a demo at WYC, and he said No. So this is a pleasant surprise.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

I'm very pleased to see this as well, and think its a step in the right direction.

Towards making it more convenient for transmutation in Indiana again. There seems to have been a push away from trade goods transmutations at Gencon, because of how busy it gets there. And its nice to see Jeff strengthening attendance at smaller cons by allowing transmutation there.

That's my thought exactly, and what I've suggested TD do. It was a big gap not having an Indiana location for full transmuting, so I'm really happy that they found a way to do so. It would be great if they could also maybe sell tokens and merchandise, or maybe have at least to one Dungeon at WYC, but if it stays at just transmuting for the near future I'm 100% onboard with that.

Let me know if you do. I'll probably make the drive over; it's only 2 hrs for me!

Even when there was only gen con. Trade good transmutes were not done at Gen Con. They had to be mailed in then. Only thing at gen con then was Combos which become 3 and 4 stars

Will the new Charms of Avarice be available in time for WYC? Or will we still need to wait until Origins to do that exchange?

I’m hoping they will be available. I’ve got two of those to do, a LoDS exchange, two kilts and a legendary to make. It would be worth a trek to Indy to do those without the risks of mail.
