On N and HC level, the engulfed character would not die, but would be reduced to one hit point. On NM s/he could die.


I don't know for certain the cube took damage when I did. but what I was proposing is the cube should "share" the damage, in effect allowing the player to have damage resistance. I know for absolute certainty that didn't happen. Just do 50/50 to make it easy, players deal 200 damage to me, it becomes 100 to me 100 to cube.

For the sake of simplicity we just did equal damage to both player and cube.
