Understood. Is there a charity to which donations could be made in his memory?

Brian,

Yes. The family asked in lieu of flowers for donations to Bridgehaven Mental Health Services @ www.bridgehaven.org .

Thanks,

Joshua

Brad Mortensen wrote: One of my favorite memories of Chip was a group of us in a banquet room, as he told the story of how he was burgled and then helped with a sting to capture the thieves. The parts of that story that stuck with me were the phrase "halfling toe ring," because when do you ever hear those three words strung together, and his compassion for the female half of the much-less-than-A team who stole from him. I doubt I would have been as forgiving if I'd been in his shoes.

A great guy, and I'm sorry I didn't get to know him better.

That was a great night with amazing people. Chip will be missed. My condolences.

I have been so busy with handicapping my Mom's house I haven't been on. This is terribly sad news, I always looked forward to seeing him at the Con. I will miss him.
