TOPIC: RIP Chip Bowles

RIP Chip Bowles 6 years 11 months ago #1

We are very saddened to learn of the passing of long-time TD enthusiast Chip Bowles. Chip and his son were to attend TDC this weekend where they planned on visiting their many True Dungeon friends.

Our condolences to his son Charles and the rest of Chip's friends and family. Chip was well known in the gaming business community, and his many friends there will mourn his passing.

We will post more information when it becomes available with regards to any arrangements. Scotch will be shared at TDC in remembrance of our friend.

I'm in shock.

Chip was an incredible player, team member and person.

Condolences to family.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Chip was a great person, full of fun and enthusiasm. He was a gamer through and through. He will be severely missed both as a gamer and a person.

We already miss you and your alter ego Lotus Blossom but know as Jeff said we will have a drink to you.

Jeff, I am sure you have already thought of this but I would formally like to request we get a token in 2018 in memory of Chip.

This is so terribly sad. I am glad that I got the chance to draw for him. He was super nice and friendly to even a newer player like myself. He will be very missed.
