Most of my dealer hall time will be Thurs. Crowds are going to be insane everywhere this year.

Makes me wonder just what the badge limits are. The convention center is going to be crazy. It was already hard to get around the dealer room on Saturday.


I do my absolute best to stay away from the main hall on Saturday every year. This year I may go for a moment for the spectacle, but will not be doing any actual shopping or demoing.

We're planning our Dealer's Room time for Thursday as well. Sunday used to be the best time to avoid the crowds, but not any longer.

GenCon is now warning that Sunday badges are on pace to sell out sometime next week.

I am going to be a DM during all of the hours the vendor hall is open (teardown on Sunday). If someone could get me one of the free die for 2017, I would be very happy :)

There is usually a coupon for a free die in the book that is included with the bag they give you at checkin/will call.

I believe it is chessex that provides the die. It has their booth number on the coupon.

Raven, there is usually a coupon for the free GENCON die in the coupon book. It's from one of the major Dice sellers, I can't recall which one. It's not a sure thing that you'll get one, I think they run out of them each day pretty early each day. I do try to get one each year.

I do miss the day when we got goodie bags, they always included the die in them, among other things. :)

Last year, you could just use the cover of the coupon book for the free die. They apparently did not get a coupon into the book. I am hoping one of my breaks will be long enough to bolt to the hall and then back so I won't have to worry. If not, I will check for the coupon and hopefully find someone that isn't busy. I believe it is Crystal Castle, and they have more than one booth on the floor.

I think you're right that it is Crystal Castle.

It's Crystal Caste, not Castle, and they actually have three booths - 529, 10591029, and 1525. They should all be endcaps to main horizontal walkways, if my memory is anything to go by, so super easy to find.

We need to change that
Henwy and I will borrow and ladder and some paint. We will need help. Look outs and someone that can put a tiny L in the name to make it look neat
