TOPIC: Killer Breakfast returns to GenCon

Pardon the thread necro, but I felt this deserved note.

Everyone survived Killer Breakfast this year!

Addendum: That was a cool thing you did Henwy.

Further addendum: Henwy did not do the thing that saved everyone. That was some guy out in the audience that interupted at the last second. Henwy's cool thing was a skit involving an idol with gems for eyes...

Yeah .. I feel like that was a pretty prominent moment. It was a bit of a pregnant pause before he said 'I guess everyone lives this time.'

I've heard through friends that Tracy wasn't sure he would be able to do it this year, and was even less sure about subsequent years.

I'm glad we were able to go, especially if this was the last time they performed.

Bonus points for my kid bringing down the house with an unexpected answer.

This was my first Killer Breakfast and it was really fun. I'm sad to hear it might be the last but I'm glad ?I got to experience it. LOL, it was one of the few non True Dungeon events I experienced at GenCon during my 4 days.

Yeah, I was disapointed to hear that it might be the last Killer Breakfast, but if it is then that was a damn fine note to go out on.

KB was awesome fun! And Henwy, your bit was some great nostalgia-inducing hilarity.

I had my bit ready to go at the end but they did not get back to me.

So glad I went for this event and the historic survival. A+

That was awesome! I think that get out of death card came up in a previous years show, but I can't remember the details. Killer Breakfast was the only other event outside of TD for me this year. And Henwy, Corinth, Melissa, and crew were awesome too.

Do they usually release a video of the show?
I actually shut my phone off after the 'how did you get here' questions when my kid was on the stage, foolishly.

It was part of a raffle prize back in 2012 I believe. The guy who won it never showed up at the booth to claim it during the Con, and there was some speculation as to what happened to it.

I work on Tracy's Crew for Killer Breakfast. He has told us there is still a possibility that he'll be back. It depends on whether GenCon wants him back and his work with The Void... which is very time consuming.
