@Raven, the 2007 pic I sent Trent has you front and center...so when you weren't DDA or some other great white north group...you were indeed TT.

So was our famous pixie! At least for the one and only run she went on. Which reminds me.....

No not that...seeing as how I would be only half of the original act...

It reminds me I am long overdue for a text or email to sissy!

Sooooo it sounded like we had one offer of help to come up with either a new badge or sash or something...

It's cool to have a huge group with very few restrictions...but it's even cooler to have badges or membership cards or token sashes or something...but hey, I should be the silent retired member.

Or is that maybe just an "on temporary hiatus" member? :)

My vote would be one of everything for everyone! Badges, sashes, bandoliers, hats, mugs, shirts, pants, shoes, pet monkeys, or is it monkies?

My stretch goal would be mugs like we had in 2005 with a "Team Token" wooden token inserted. :)

Did you know that IRL I'm an actor/director? I went to film school and everything (same one as George Lucas - USC).

And as you can imagine, we studied the great films there. I just double checked the top 10 great films, and I just noticed something that I missed before...

Sheesh, man - if token flipping is your standard of greatness, I'm sure there's many other movies which should make the list. Like that Casa Erotica one where they go to the casino, and the bartender is all over the poker chips, and then... wait. I have never seen any such movie in my life. And besides, the directing was awful.

P.S.S.S. It's the hair. You have awesome hair, and I have about as many hairs as that amazing film of yours.

Well, ya got me there. My hair is one of my few vanities. I mean, how often are kids born with such perfect blue hair? I think I won the genetic lottery on that one. (Though Druegar is a close runner up with his natural Teal.)

Guess that means I'm in?

PS: nice collection, Trent.

I don't have a lot of token pics online, but here's a quick peek at some of the very first tokens I ever collected : )

First 3 tokens

Raven, that's awesome! I still have my day/time token from 2003 also, which was my first token - and the one in the Token Guide. Although Dave had to edit the picture, since I wrote 2003 on it - silly me, thinking that we'd get a day/time token every year. :)

Was 2003 the only year that adventure start time Tokens were given out? Or were they also given out in 2004?

Only in 2003.

2003 was the year GenCon moved to Indy, and TD was added to the Events list too late to make it for pre-registration.. so all the registration had to be done on-site.

And there were a *lot* of bugs with ticketing that first year... ticket printers were jamming, and there were line ups literally around the block, for people waiting to pick up badges and tickets, even while their event times had come and gone.

So TD was selling wooden "tickets" right at their desk, bypassing the registration/ticketing system, for 2003 only.

By 2004, they were in the system. (And, unsurprsingly, were pretty much sold out before the event even started.)

I might be a little late to the party (big surprise there...), but if you'd have me I'd like to join Team Token. This seems like a really cool, orc arse kicking good time. :)

I agree Mike, and I've looked online for something like this (a place that can make them), but I haven't found it yet. Do you know of a place?

Yeah, your token flipping film is one of the best, but Casa Erotica sounds like it might be a close second...lol!

I don't. Perhaps Jeff remembers where he got the originals made? Of course, there's no guarantee that they're still in business 12 years later.
