Interesting, I actually asked while I was coaching if we needed to create a separate spot for "To Hit spell modifier" place on the party card near the healing and damage modifier things. But the ruling is that the DMs were to use the ranged to hit for spells as well to make things easier. Whatever makes the DMs job easier is best.

I understand space is at a premium on the card, but I think there really should be, because:

1. Spellcasters shouldn't get the enhancement bonus of their ranged weapons.
2. Wizards should get Hat of Intellect's +2

I think you could drop the conditional AC versus ranged column - there are like 3 tokens that impact that, and I bet they come into play a lot less than Hat of Intellect.

On my runs coaches were using the box for the Cabal set info for the total spell damage bonuses. Ranged to hit box could be used for to hit bonuses for sliding spells, including DEX bonuses, Hat of Intellect, and Sniper Specs. Bardsong would then be added when needed.

I'd also like to see a spell to hit listed on the party card. In one room the DM and AC both didn't believe the ranged AC should apply to our wizard spells, even when I pulled out the Sniper Spectacles and Bracers of Supreme Archery. And I don't think we ever go the "to hit" bonus of the Ring of Wizardry, because it wasn't rolled up into the ranged bonus.

Maybe also inform DMs about the Lenses of Divine Sight and Eldritch Bonuses, because one DM gave us a little bit of a hard time over that.

I think they're saying that box gets muddied by things like a +2 sling.

Bracers of Archery and Sniper Spectacles do affect spell hit. Been using that for years. It's quite clear from the token wording of ANY RANGED attack. (vs any MISSILE attack.) Not sure why that is an issue; not like wizards are soloing this stuff unless your tokens outclass the tier you're playing (and sometimes not then).

When I slide, I tell the DM what I need to hit, taking DEX, HoI, RoW, and the specs into consideration. I also figure out the damage I will do if I hit with all relevant bonuses. I imagine many NM-level wizards could and should do that.

As long as were talking party card Ill throw out a quick request one of my dm friends had. If were doing any anti magic stuff that requires the use of base stats again he would like a level check box for 5th since it was apperently hard for him to tell which base stat to use for which character from the cards around everyones necks with the party milling about as they tend to in combat.

This is not something I've ever been able to do. When I slide, the DM is off handling the spell casters, and doesn't look at the table until after all the sliding is done.

If the party card space is at such a premium, why do we still have the three treasure stamp spots? You could take those out and maybe add another column...

That's... brilliant! I guess people just got focused on the other columns and such already on the card. Yeah, totally don't need those now.

Those spaces were kept on the card for miscellaneous notes that later DMs might need to be aware of.
