Yes, all pucks have the magnets oriented in the same direction.

Wasn't that somewhat intentional? So that when you stack them, they tend to stay together?

Yes and so the  PTB can do some diabolical slider board designs.

Now that will be a very interesting element to add to the sliding portion of TD! I like it!

My homemade sliders have magnets as well, and I have one board that uses a removable 'field' of magnets beneath :)

You don't. They're being tested as a possible replacement for the existing pucks.

There are no plans for sale of the sliders. Continue to make your own.

Dang it! Profits could be made and missing sliders may be lessened.

Ed,

Thanks for making the slider pucks usable at TDC. Overall, I felt they were solid, just the magnet inside perhaps was a bit too strong, maybe a decrease in the pull force by 25 - 40 percent would be better.

My other comment above ties in with this that when i held the pucks for monk in a stack, they were harder to slide consecutively as the first puck was being pulled back by the magnetic force of the second puck still in hand. I understand that not all monks slide stacking both pucks in one hand, but just my two cents.
